All are straight.Shipping is either Fedex or Canada Post, will need full address to figure FEDEX rate.
  2. Congrats JoWhee, what a life changer it must be.
  3. IIRC,929 or 954 frt end, wheel will be a 16" RC Components. He was using a skinny rad from a VT600 that goes under the seat to let that frt wheel slam in there. He mounted the forks backwards to put extra weight over the axle.
  4. Take 'em apart ,Seafoam is just not gonna do it.I've found the Honda and Suzuki carb cleaner also work just fine, all three may very well come from the same place, who knows. A little surprised it's also not happening at idle,if that pilot jet to that carb is slightly blocked you should notice from idle right up to about where you describe. And take a real close look at the float needles, ethanol destroys them in no time.
  5. Which Honda mower we talking about here anyway? You just may be polishing a turd anyway.I know the motor may last forever but some of the older models are a bitch to get cables/wheels and shit for anyway.
  6. Why not give the JB a shot? Load a ton of it on there and tap a fresh hole. And clean the rust off your coil, that could be part of your cutting out problem too.
  7. That may be the worst I've ever seen. Would like to know the date on the tire.Tires do age faster on cold concrete, you should always put something between them if you can.I've notice some brands age faster than others on the tir rack in the store, namely Dunlop and Michelin will be noticeably harder if they reach their first birthday without selling.Whereas Metzelers seem to last for years,Bridgestone was somewhere in the middle...usually. And sometimes it can be a bad batch that should have been recalled.Years ago Michelin recalled Pilot Powers (I think, hey it was years ago) but just the ones made in France IIRC.
  8. Let's look at this from a logic based perspective. When does an oil filter ever get so clogged the bypass valve has to open? I have no issue using a Yamaha or Kawasaki filter on my bike. Each oil filter IS NOT designed for a specific engines oil pressure as that same filter used on your XX is also used on a 1987 XL600 Transalp,1500 &1800 Goldwings,VTX1300's,1987 CBR600's,94 VF750 Magna and a shit load of others.Same with all the Japanese makers. K&N and HI-Flo for example list the same filter for a ZX14 and an R1 and all CBR's. We can disagree on which is better but they have put themselves at risk if they get it wrong. I've been using Honda filters for years because I worked at a Honda dealer,my supply has run out,my choice is Hi-Flo or Kawi, gonna try the Hi-Flo.Sold plenty of them over the years. So FYI for everyone,Honda,Kawi,Yamaha and Triumph all share the same filter on many of their bikes.Suzuki is the oddball. I'd say Motorcyclist is just covering their ass.
  9. You'll lose a little fuel economy, not much.Performance is better but not night and day difference.I went to a 16 pretty quick when I got mine so its hard to remember and I was never concerned about fuel economy,it was always lousy compared to everybody else tho,umm I think that's just how I ride.
  10. There is no magic #,depends on how much water, grit etc gets past the seals.Next time you take a wheel off, rotate the inner roller around and feel for friction.
  11. Holy crap. Well if I didn't feel out of shape enough already, now I feel worse.
  12. 120 links DID race chain as they like to call it,all gold,x-ring. Was saving it for my next bike, starting to wonder if I'll ever need it so up for sale she goes. $150 shipped anywhere in N.A. Al NO LONGER FOR SALE-GOING EBAY ROUTE.
  13. I know that trick! I used to get the pure creatine monohydrate or whatever, mix it and take it twice a day,but that was 12 yrs ago.I'm 46 now and debating about going back on it.It seemed to work to help the intensity, and yes the first month I gained 8 lbs, after that usually 3 lbs a month.I was going for just muscle gain, built up 25 lbs in 12 months,5 months of which I never lifted a thing,my waist stayed the same.I'm nowhere near your guys size, but I was happy with 3 lbs a month. Some time later I found I could gain the same or close with less workouts and no creatine.I had lost around 10 lbs of muscle, and started doing just 2 workouts a week instead of 4,gained at least 2 lbs a month. Then I got lazy-for the next 10 years and I'm still there today!
  14. It's been years since I had mine out (ok 2 years, long enough) but are there not any other marks on the cams? IF they have "MAT E" then for sure you have f.i. cams. This should be right on the shafts near the middle.
  15. If you can find a crashed one (obviously not badly and still roadworthy) that is often the best start, then the rest of us can help you from there,I don't have much left but still have bits and pieces . I have bought my last 2 bikes as wrecks and saved a ton that way.
  16. I have MOST of that,stand,springs,1 bolt,1 washer.Rest of it has to be around somewhere, saw some collars that might be right... $10 Shipping....I can log on to FEDEX at work tomorrow,we get a really good rate,or else its guntotinposties for about $25-30.I went on-line-gave it my best guess $26.97,always seems to go up when you get there to send it.I hate Canada Post.
  17. I bought these years ago expecting to need them, never did,so still shiny new in the boxes they came in. $125 shipped anywhere in N.A. Also have a rad,as I put a '98 rad on my '91,doesn't look pretty but works just fine, clean inside.$40 shipped.
  18. What are you using for a rr wheel?
  19. Well I have different theories on why it went bad last time,it may be I took too much material off the steel.Maybe it still has to have enough teeth to hold on to the hub, that's how I did it the first two times and it lasted quite well. There's another guy in Florida with an '03 who uses the judder spring and outer friction plate from a '97,takes out a fiber and doubles up a steel.I'm not 100% of his exact layout but thats basically how he explained it.Pulling mid 1.50's 60' on a good day.
  20. Well it appears I could not tell the crank gear had divided(for lack of a better definition),first time I shone a light in there it looked even,so as soon as I lined the two parts up the basket slipped right in.Why it moved in the first place is beyond me,it came right off, with resistance, but straight off. And this time I'm trying something new.I have for the last several years used a method I read about years ago to allow some clutch slip during a high rpm launch. After putting up with the worlds grabbiest clutch after doing a burn-out for the first few years I raced it I was ready to try anything. It involved grinding the teeth out of one steel plate and putting it at the back against the hub, then two friction, then normal layout.Sounds crazy, works great. But its eats hubs, wears a ring into it from back and forth movement.Still I could go to the track a dozen times before I needed new plates and re-use the hub anyway. So this time its still ground out but going in its normal place in line. Last year I replaced just the last 3 plates and the bike lost mph from the first day at the track but ran great all year.Never thought to check the clutch, couldn't even feel it slipping. It ate the fiber off the the friction plate right down to the metal, the one beside the modified steel plate.I hardly raced at all last year, the only other thing I did was put new springs in. So I hope this works,I have no consistency without it and I am dead set on breaking my 9.67 which was 3 years ago.
  21. Thanks Stan,I'll give it a shot.
  22. Should be simple right? Manual is next to useless,"use a screwdriver to align the gears", how exactly? The crank gear is spring loaded but doesn't want to move and I'm bound to chip the case if I keep prying.Have failed at many attempts now, about to haul the bike to a mechanic buddys this weekend, would rather not,so if anyone has some advice I'm all ears.
