  1. Are they much different to this? http://www.ronayers.com/Fiche/TypeID/26/Ty...Model/CBR1100XX
  2. It probably the rear as it gets covered in cack. Either [1] disconnect one wire from the front brake light switch and see if they go out or not [2] push the rear brake switch up and see if the light goes out. I've had my rear get stuck once or twice. I've just disconnected the spring pulled it out and sprayed a bit of lube on it. Pushed it in/out until it's all nice and free and stuck it back on....remembering to readjust if required.
  3. Would you believe they actually replied suggesting the Pure !!! Grippy but feck all mileage!
  4. I'm not sure how useful the cost is as I'm in the UK but it was £207 for the pair, ride in/ride out. There a dual compound which wear well and have no issues supporting the weight of the 'bird. It's a popular tyre with 'bird owners this side of the pond.
  5. Why PR2's when PR3's have just come out? Incidently Michelin don't offer them as "Approved Fitment". I've just swapped mine and gone for another set of Avon Storm Ultra II's. A great tyre.
  6. PR3 - is that Pilot Road 3??? Reviews, etc? C'mon, hook a brother up! Mike Yup, Pilot Road 3. I just got a set on the F2, and got some coming for the XX. Gimme a little more time to see how they wear and I'll post up. I've only got about 200 miles on them right now. I REALLY like the feel though - especially in a little weather. http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/articl...p;article=43020 I've been in touch with Michelin this past week and the PR3 hasn't been approved for the XX. Of course there's nothing stopping anyone from doing so. Weirdly they suggest using the Pure ! So much for the PR3 being the ultimate Sport Touring tyre when it's not approved on the big bikes.
  7. He thinks shipping to the UK would be around 125. Thanks for checking. That plus the current bid means I'm out. Cheers.
  8. I'm in the market for just such a set. Any gut feelings on international shipping costs to the UK?
  9. Let me dig though my parts bin tomorrow evening, I'll see what I have. I'm pretty sure I have a couple. This dude's posted the same thing on a number of forums and I've already seen (a few days ago) the offer of some.
  10. This is the second thread I've seen about Pinlock on bike forums in the last couple of weeks but I'm not sure why. They've been around years and are great. I just assummed that they are a standard accessory in the same way chain lube, oil, heated grips etc I've used standard, high (race version), clean and tints and on an Arai and a Schuberth. They all have worked superbly. In my Arai I prefer the race version as it goes higher up the visor which is great if your heads down and you're looking up. My Schuberth had it fitted as standard but my Arai needed the fitting kit (template, pegs etc) but both work just as well. If you've yet yo try one then do so.
