I agree with this...but when it comes to having a bigger house to better suit your family....not so sure an RV can be considered a keeper. I would also bet....he doesn't ride it as much as it being a labor of love. Put the kids in bunk beds, trust me, they will be leaving before you know it. It really doesn't matter how big the house is or where you live. School yes. The most important thing is for them to learn independence and to know that they are loved. Then let them go and have a nice ride.

There are some things that just can't be replaced, this is one. When you are old, you will wish you still had it. And how much does it cost to keep? Think about it, someday one of your great grand children will find it in the back corner of the garage covered up and will be stunned! Being the genius child that they are, they will secretly formulate fuel and whatever is needed to make the thing run again. They will then secretly roll the bike out and learn to handle it and one fine day will scream it down the highway. Once again there will be someone on the planet that will feel the freedom of riding! So, a question for you who have set valves more than once. Is it better to have the clearance on the low side or high side of tolerance. I'm wondering if, with miles, the valve clearance opens up or gets tighter.

If you are not using frosting for toothpaste you don't really have a problem. If you don't fill your bellybutton with frosting in the morning for later you don't really have a problem. If you don't mail yourself Hostess Twinkies so you can have a snack when you pick up the mail you don't really have a problem. You do have a problem if you tell your friends you eat to give your truck better traction. Or if you think of all the starving people in China and eat so the food isn't wasted. And if you stand on the roadside with a sign that says "will work for doughnuts" you have a problem.

If you aren't going to move it much go for the unisaw and either fence. I've had one that I bought used 25 years ago, still works perfect. Except that it doesn't run as well on the newer lower octane electricity.

That does raise a question. Is a ten year old bike due for a radiator flush, the same as one would do for a car? Or are we confident that the superior coolant and water are keeping the internals perfect. No doubts about the other fluids and that reminds me, I need to change all my other vehicles brake fluid as well. Might as well make a day of it.

Would it make sense to put a VERY light spring on the chain to hold it taut and out of the way? I'll be installing mine soon, but not till I see all the photos.
