You can get a set of Handy Front/Rear stands for $99:

Those motorcycle lifts look as if you'd need to remove plastic, and even then, you'd be resting most of the weight of the bike on the exhaust.
If you plan on doing your own wheel removal a lot, invest in front and rear stands. I do the same thing (take only my wheels to the dealer to have tires installed) because I don't trust them with my bike. It'll end up scratched I'm sure.
I ordered one and it should be here today. I'll see how it does.
Right now I'm using a "Mirror Mount" Base installed onto one of my clip-on pinch bolts, and using 2 short arms and a connector to wrap it around to where I want it.

Mine was more like 11% if I remember correctly, but it seems that others have been lower than that. I can confirm my settings tonight as well. Mine is now almost dead-on as compared to my GPS.
Yeah, it's in there. But it seems like there are two connectors that it will fit, and one of them will cause you to blow a fuse if you connect it up and turn on the ignition. (Don't ask how I know this.)
I went with Red Fox (www.red-fox.com), painted to match. I liked it because it has the cut-out to match the front fender.

Yeah, I saw that, but I prefer not to use illegal copies of copyrighted stuff. I have the service manual at home, just didn't have it handy.
(And no, let's not turn this into an ethics discussion please. )
Yep, I've had 2 of Jim's boxes on 2 different Honda's and they've been great.
My XX was off about 12% if I remember correctly. (With stock gearing) But yes, they do vary a bit.
No, those that Warchild has screw into the stock bar weights.
You'll probably want to keep those internal bar weights because they cut down on the vibration of the bars.
Here's a set of Erion slip-ons for cheap: (Even the "Buy It Now" price is a good one, compared to what I've seen around.)
