Which is, in essence, the problem. 50 pages would be more than most will process. My Prius has 3 manuals. đ”

Yikes! A bit priceyâŠbut worth it if youâll use it enough. I rarely use my drill, but I need new bitsâŠor an easy way to correctly sharpen them.

Yes, it is. Thatâs why if Iâm going to spend money on a security measure, I wanât to know to what degree it protects. When I went to Germany, doors and windows were locked. Dogs were with my sister. I put padlocks on the garage door rails so one could not open them from the outside. With all the large windows on the house, a burglar could get in with a bat. Even asking the neighbor to watch the house, thereâs no way to watch it 24/7. I could have installed a security system, but cut the phone line and wear a mask and it does no good. Even if it alerted the police, I could expect 20-30 minutes for any units to arriveâŠif not more. So, I didnât spend for one. Heck, my dad obtained security service decals and put them on the hose AS IF we had security service. A bluff, but the goal was to persuade a burglar to go elsewhere rather than waste time on our house. Many helmet lock systems basically just provide a locked hook for the chin strap. What typically happens? A numb nut just cuts the strap and takes the helmet. Only a thief who wants an intact helmet wonât do that.

Which is odd considering the number of dicks in the running.

Sounds like a stripperâs stage name.

Starlink is not an option until I see the outcome of the next "election." Musk has made powerful enemies, and if anything happens to him, there's no reason to believe his companies will move forward as if he was still at the helm.

Perhaps, but I thought that one was about a TV antenna/booster. What brands for cell phones do you see as well-made?
-
What cell signal boosters are worth it? For rural use where you're lucky to get 1 bar.

Iâd have to properly strap down the bike to check. Keep in mind that the trailer simply lacks anchor points that work with the single sided swingarm and exhaust can. If the front straps do most all the work and the rear simply makes sure the tire doesnât bounce, it should be fine. I like the folding trailer concept, but clearly this model is only ideal for certain designs. The seller added holes for additional anchor points, so even with his Goldwing, more was needed.
-
Those photos ARE without the front straps.
-
Itâs not pulling to the left because of the strap. Done properly, I would have the two front straps done and then apply the rear strap. It would be âlevelâ before started. I put the bike on the trailer solely to determine where to drill for the anchor.
-
You would never get an appreciable measure of tension with a strap placed there, and youâd risk marring the wheel. Besides, it does provide additional lateral stability during transport. Itâs why I use 4 straps when 2 supposedly is all I need. Honestly, I question if this tie down would work on a flatbed trailer based on my swingarm/exhaust positions. Maybe itâs the shaft drive. There is really no way to have left and right straps equally positioned without one or the other hitting something.
-
Got the care package. The smaller ones might have done the job, but I went with the forged eye bolt I got at Rural King. I see no way to anchor equally thanks to the swingarm/muffler arrangement. Yeah, itâs leaning to the left, but I only put the bike on the trailer to see where my drill options were. Didnât have the front strapped down.

Yeah, but is it worth the premium? Google Earth lets you calculate acreage. While we have +/- 34 acres, a calculation shows only 2 acres of land we actually mowâŠand most of that only needs cutting maybe once a month because we donât mind it growing taller. Around the house proper and along the drive if needed every 2-3 weeks. Now to see if I can get it at a discount.

Wow. A positive response. Please say you arenât messing with me.

Looking at this now. It seems zero turn models are a premium, but other than going faster, they donât, per se, do significantly better cutting. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Cub-Cadet-XT1-Enduro-LT-46-in-23-HP-V-Twin-Kohler-7000-Series-Engine-Hydrostatic-Drive-Gas-Riding-Lawn-Tractor-LT46/317834379?irgwc=1&cm_mmc=afl-ir-249354-456723-&clickid=VdeVmu3vrxyPTTzU4TwzTyBJUkFW4XSdzU5o2A0

After enough time, Iâd be paying for the equipment anyhow. Just as leasing makes no sense if you want to keep a vehicle for over a decade.

YeahâŠwith enough rain it could get that bad, but I have a brush mower that could handle it. Itâs a matter of cost vs. benefit. What weâre being charged for two cuttings a month is quickly adding upâŠeven if you presume 3 months with no cuttings and 2 months with maybe only one cutting. I also wonder if the zero turn is worth the money compared to other riding mowers. A nimble enough riding mower would work just as well, but an issue I think exists is that zero turns have a lower center of gravity, so if youâre going along the edge on a sloped bank, you donât have to hang off the edge of the seat. Of course a quality riding mower may cost just as much.

Good to know. Honestly, IF the lawn guy would be content to only come once a month, I might justify the cost. Problem is that mom wants the yard to look ânice.â I just want to keep the grass from growing unchecked. When she dies, all the plants needing maintenance are gone because I have neither the time, inclination or skill to do the needed gardening to keep them healthy.
