what PSI do you recomend for daily freeway driving and some easy canyon carving for avon 45/46's I will have them on Sat and told the installer to put them at 40psi front and back. They looked at me kind of funny and said most people run the front a couple of lbs less than the rear.

may not be of much help but I purchased a used 2000 that had corbin bags and the 2 bros exaust on it and it has more clearnace than pictures I have seen of stock cans with the corbin bags. Duno what modle the cans are but they are the carbonfiber and have an oval shape to them.

When I picked my avons up today I was happy with them I hope they ride as good as they look

Ok I am thinking about having my front end revalved and stiffer springs. Seeing as Racetec is in corona 10 minutes from me would I be better off taking it to them and letting them do the work? Do they do that or do they just sell the parts ? Anyone have them do it and what would be a reasonable cost to buying all the parts and having them install it all ? Thanks for any feedback

damn !!! I just picked up my Avons! they look wickid Cant wait to strap them on and Oh damn I have to go easy for the first few hundred miles On second thought as much of a sissy as I am I probly can push them hehehe. I will try to cut down on the chicken stripes after a nice brake in.

At 7200 miles the center of my rear tire has no tread groves left. So I assume that means it needs replaceing. it still has plenty left on the sides though and at least 3/4" chicken stripes. Ya ya ya I know but they used to be bigger I am getting the hang of turning . Anyways the front is still in good shape and from all the talk I am going to put on the avons Now do I need to replace the front also its the stock tire and its from a 00 so has been on for 3 years. But has no cracks and lots of life. But I am not sure if its a good Idea to mix and match brands of tires front and rear. Now for the hard question I did a search and I am going to ask anyways. I am trying to get better at cornering but I am taking it slow and not really pushing myself to the pucker factor and I know the bike will do WAY more than I am capable of doing now but I dont want to ride above my ability. So with alot of freeway riding and blazign up the canyons at a snails pace ( at least in a good riders view ) never ride in the rain. Is the Avon set up a good set up for me ? Right now for the life of me I cant get the hero blobs to touch down but I am getting closer and My chicken stripes are shrinking. While I am at it what classes would be helpful in learing to corner better. I have never taken any MSF classes but have considerd doing the advanced class. I have had a license and been riding for about 20 years with some long off periods. I have had a bike for the last 3 years solid.

Calipers mesure it at .4730 of an inch so find a metric converter and you can find out for sure. If I remember right it was 12MM but I dont use metric stuff so changed it over. it may have been 11mm. The rubber thing is from Home Depot in the nuts bolt section. Its a rubber expantion nut, 1/4"-20 5/8"long. I duno if they have metric sizes.

Ya its home mdae. I am going to make a few more as soon as I have anoter member test fit one. He should be getting it this week as long as teh Postoffice coperates. Should be able to get them out for around $40-$45 shipped depending on intrest. The rubber insert is a expantion nut you can get it at HomeDepot in there section with nuts and bolts. Its a 1/4"X13/16"

lighter fluid, Nail polish remover, "goo gone" <--- get it at a hardware store. After you remove the residue clean with honda polish and wax.

I like my mount One 1/4 allen bolt and its in and done.

depends what creotean you are taking Most that are name brands and are not just creotean are LOADED with sugar, The sugar is suposed to help speed the creotean to the muscles. Or thats what the adds say It really helped me when I first started working out or I thought it was anyways. I have been totaly off any weightlifting suplements for almost a year.

congrats! I did not know we had a diet forum here too. I also am gaining hp hheheh over the last 2 years I have dropped 148 lbs no wonder this bird feels stronger than my first one. I started with slimfast and lots of time at the gym now its Atkins and the Gym! My New Years goal was ubder 230 by my Birthday of april 19th I made it to 126 and have been off the Diet till this week. I am back up to 231 and now I am giving myself 3 months to hit under 220. But even if I dont make it I am not going to beat myself up over it. I feel GREAT! 150lbs lighter. Keep with it, I know the Atkins brownie mixes are good. thats about the only "cheats" I eat. Other than that its Veggies,Fish,meat,Cheeese! and 1 1/2 gals of water a day.

Its going to sound FUCKING loud but never hurt mine. I did not run it long or on the street I bet cops from the next major city would be looking for you for excessive noise.

on the left and right the inner farrings have push in rubber snubbers that connect to the gas tank back to the mid rear of the tank

in Ca its leagal to have a nos kit as long as the bottles are closed on the public roads. I ran nos in my 99 Camaro SS and was never hastled when pulled over anb the bottle stock out liuke a sore thumb. It does not help when trying to talk your way out of tickets. If they see the bottle you are getting a ticket for something. I then hid the bottle where the spare tire went and what they did not know did not get me a ticket. But Nos and NX make remote openers so a flick of the switch and you have open bottles and the heater comes on with auto shut off when at the best temp. I hope your warmer has an off switch. It is not fun when the blow off valve goes off and n20 fills your car it tastes like SHIT if you dont rout the blow off valve tube to out of the car. the stuff they sell for use in motors has 1part per million or so of sulfer to keep kids from snorting it. And it WILL blow the blow off valve or rupture the tank if the presure builds to much from the heater.

I loved my D&D slip ons I had on my first 00 blackbird but they are not for everyone. They really are LOUD as HELL!!!!!. NO really I mean LOUD!!!!!!. But they sound great.
