Have you taken the clutch push rod out from behind the slave cylinder and cleaned it all up pretty? Just wondering if maybe it is sticking and causing some issues.
Damn, I wish I knew about this sooner. I really need to check this section of the board. I miss my '99 something terrible. I considered repainting mine either pearl white, or a copper color when I had her. She is gorgeous.
Joe, if you are concerned about stolen, call Verizon when you have the phone in hand and check the MEID# before handing over cash. There are also new Droid Xs on Amazon for +- $100.
....and, it's for a friend.
I like to keep the friendship.
...he runs the local home brew supply too.
This could get ugly.
Nothing wrong with saying it is beyond your comfort level. You want to keep the friendship and would like to see your friend get a job well done. Perhaps a pro is better suited.
I have a class mate that is listing this bike for sale. Just thought I would help her out. See if anyone here was interested. It is located in Bay City, MI.
2006 CBR 1000 Black asking $7500. Her email for more information is: arswanso@yahoo.com
I know some of use guys likes these older bikes. I have no affiliation with the bike or seller. Just came across it on Craigslist and figured I would post up if someone is looking for a project.

Good work young man! I had to replace the plastic and felt sliders on my dryer a few years back. Not a bad job to do, but damn it was expensive for a couple feet of thin plastic and some heavy felt. I believe it was a little over $100.
Did you clean out the vent stack while you had it apart?
Ok. All I have left is the guts of a right mirror. The glass is replacement and siliconed in place. There is also the metal rod that attaches to the mirror backing plate.
