  1. What's the earliest an old guy might ride out of P.A.?
  2. ...and again. He is reall y interested. We need to get him in to the credit union. Getting it back to C.W. - could be fun. (You do still have it?)
  3. My kids ride that. It's big enough for them and cheap to insure. Are you on 1100FdotNet?
  4. Wife brought this ip out of he blue tonight. 8O
  5. A friend was looking at a multo 10s of thousands pontoon boat once. There was an address in my neighborhood where it was supposed to be from. He called me to do a dtive by. I did. There was nthing in the yard or at the dock. He responded to the ad. The scammer said it was in Vegas, in storage. He replied again and said he could have a friend there is a half hour to look at it in Vegas. The thread went dead. We think this a real ad, just not sure if the bike is really all that.. ?
  6. ....damn, interesting idea. March can be pretty nasty up here though. :?
  7. My middle son told me he IS interested. He's riidden my Hurricane and my bird and knows what it is.
  8. Have one, not both. I don't know it it is OEM. It was on the bike when I got it. I replaced both after I lost one.
  9. ...old 7.3L - no regen, but I'm guessing warming them up gasifies the fuel a little at a time also. That should cook it out.
  10. ....sound deadening for the wild paties ain't a bad idea.
  11. Superhawk996 - thank you for that. That was a great write up. When I bought mine I wouldn't have understood quite a bit of that. I didn't realize tuners interacted with that much of the controls. The dealer mentioned what they had to fix and implied it was related to being tuned. I never researched it further. I have been pretty happy with stock. I test drove a stock 6.0 once and was pretty impressed by it's hill climbing ability. I have been leary of them for their questionable reputations. Question - diesels that are run fifty miles at a time Vs 12 mikes at a time (or pick an appropriate interval) if you run them for longer distances per trip, is there less of a problem with fuel in the oil?
  12. First workd problems. I'm in. I bought a CB750 basket case in 2008 while I was unemployed "that time". My wife then confirmed and reafirmed I'm nuts. (The price was right). It has Carillo rods and a Falicon crank for a 913 build. I have a title and license in my name. I'm at TDC and can't get past it. I have four running bikes. The fifth is buried in a garage that varies from minus holy hell to just damn unworkable. Said first world problem garage is half insulated, which is about as good as not insulated. ....someday....
  13. I've been thinking about going to s hotspot. It's about 8 times faster than DSL here. Our phones are not supported. I went to look. An iPhine 6S 64 isn't shown one way or the other. We also did not have luck transitioning our youngest's iP4 to Cricket. Sprint and Apple pointed fingers at each other. (Its still laying around here somwhere) Question - is a i6 64GB the sane as a iP6 32, just with extra memory? How much would it take/do you know if you could get it unlocked?
  14. My 7.3L had a fifth wheel hitch in it before I bought it and it is set up for plowing. I rebuilt the transmission at about 180,000 miles. I'm at 250,000 now. The previous owner had a tuner in it. He took it out before he traded it in. He found me and tried to sell it to me. The dealer I bought it from did some fuel/injector rail work before I bought it. I suspect the damage was from the tuner chip. The 6.7L is supposed to be quite reliable too now my understanding. I also hang out at TheDeiselStop.com on occasion..
