  4. Yeah, that's may mileage all-around.
  5. I know the guy that helps him once in a while. He said they take an oversized Torx bit and found it in so it's interfering. I could only find out to a size 50 Torx bit and it was a little sloppy, so I did not try that nothing.
  6. Thanks for the Gimme. The kid needs the car back to go to back to school in Milwaukee by the end of the month though, so I can't wait for retirement. Haha
  7. This was the one people liked the looks of back in the day. Mine's an '88 with the "Hurricane " in white letters. https://www.smartcycleguide.com/L49479676 The blue over gray Gray CBR1000F isn't even broken in. What does a new 1000 cc bike fo for? (I know there is a difference, parts availability fir one). Gray/blueis the color scheme I wanted back when they were new.
  8. I was miserably defeated on a VW Jetta yesterday. There was an allen bolt head with a round exterior. I couldn't get it out I wonder if that would have done it. Maybe if I got one just small enough to tap on? Took it down and dropped it off at my usual garage in defeat.
  9. No, but they do catch my eye. If any thing turns up, I'll post it here. I can't seem to part with mine.
  10. @XXera ...if you add more pics, just click the reply to this thread, then "click to choose files" in the reply. You have a pretty good set of decent quality ones already. More than a lot of guys do.
  11. I guess he just has not learned that yet. It would help his sale to keep it organized in only one thread.
  12. Skeazie salesman prototypical example.
  13. ...they're handed? ..sorry, I don't know, but they look either/or.
  14. I may have some plastic push pins. I got them from John's bike bits. I don't know how they differ from fairing to fairing. I used a couple on Jr's bike, even plugged a couple of windscreen holes on the outer edges.
  15. Can you ID the lower fairing bolt? I bought some extras hex Allen cap screws last year when I did the Givi bags. (Maybe stainless?)
  16. WD 40 is good for drying things out.
