  1. OMG, I'm a fag. ....apparently a lesbian too?
  2. RXX ...right where I live. Well, mine might be Metallica with an IPA, but I'm with ya. The stator probably wasn't a big job last year, but is had some satisfaction to it. It's kind of nice to know that the bike won't be the limiting factor in how fast or far I go.
  3. I wasn't conscious of there being an VFR800. A guy told me the other night, that he had a CBR800 a number of years back. I didn't press the point. ...maybe he meant VFR.... Nice looking ride - great price too.
  4. RXX, I hate to say - it probably would take me most of that. I was more confirming that - that was your final answer. There were no replies during that time. The plate shown, that's aftermarket, no? Heat sink, rain guard, rock guard, ....just for mounting?
  5. Six hours -and you got this right?
  6. I can hear water dripping over the edge of s bucket.
  7. Yeah, I'm watching that with my CBX and my 900F. Parts are getting "interesting" to find. So far the Hurricane hasn't needed anything than a kill switch cleaning. I'd like a new clear windshield - it has yellowed from UV a 'tidge. Those switches are exposed. They do corrode sometimes.
  8. I hear mice and other rodents will girdle trees below the snow-line during the winter, but I have not seen it personally.
  9. White tail deer. i.e. urban plague.
  10. Last week I couldn't speL Egynrar, now I are one.... ...That was a 3 part answer BTW. Best-to-worst order IMHO.
  11. Find a plastic plug that you can place in a hole after the hose is remove. Drill a hole through the inside wall of the frame ONLY, not the sash, and run the hose to the area underneath the sash. There are weeps on the outside that will allow water to drain to the outside. The window weeps are designed to allow water to escape to the outside. When you take out the hose pop the plug into the hole with a little clear silicone. ....If the water running down the face of the building is considered unsightly.... You could also have a glazier come and replace the glass - to be saved for replacement later- and have a nice sandwich panel placed in that you could plumb a line through. Then when it's time to move out, fix it. This one would take some thought to make sure rain wouldn't seep in.... You could also consider removing the sash and storing it in a safe place for re-installation after the muggy season. Place a panel where the sash was.
  12. Those are referred to as "Hopper windows". You can get an exterior screen to keep bugs out. Crack it open enough to get a drain line out (with the pump previously mentioned), and compression foam to make a seal? How professional does it have to look? Do you have clients that come into that room?
  13. This only affects a couple model years, but it is well written and detailed. I'm afraid I may have to do this. I'll try to take pictures. May I nominate it for "Important Useful Threads" please? ...or at least stickied? Thanks, Bill
  14. Holy F. Justin, call Hobicus for delivery. (or me). ...air fare.
  15. Yeah, light taps on the starter. (Jump the solenoid? - but not in gear - parking break on). How long has it sat? Could the battery had raptured?

    F150 AC

Rockauto - ordered the compressor with the kit/parts and a new serp belt. I have a connection o the evac pump too BTW. ...I was thinking of doing it in the driveway, but thought better.
  17. Intra-uterine device?

    F150 AC

Yeah, sorry, a lot of cut-n-paste: How do you drain off the old R12? It was right after the first quote. I couldn't figure out how to get it back ahead without a lot of messing around. I think I got it though. Don't do it, or do it right. The AC was working. The compressor locked up. That means that the R12 is probably still in the system?

    F150 AC

How do you drain off the old R12? Internet searches can be fun. Second F150 has had AC problems in as many months. The first one I just had the shop put in an idler pully. Junior has that truck so bunged up that It's not worth putting any money into. The other F150 is still a nice looking wood hauler. If I do the work myself, I dan have AC back in it for less than the shop charged for the pulley. The compressor is locked up. I'm sure there are some methods more PC/legal than others..... I see people using propane. 8O This was an older post, but I'm going to call.
  20. Extremely nice specimen. 2000's are the best: http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=75143 ...as rockmeupto125 has clearly outlined.
  21. http://huntington.craigslist.org/mcy/5046823629.html ....Holy F*$K
  22. I have a spare burnt one in the garage I think.
  23. I can't get into a bidding war, but I might try to justify it for that much. Please add me to the bottom of the list.
  24. I'd take it, but I still haven't gotten a new computer. That comes first in the family budget. Cousin Eddy n "The Munsters".
