  1. You can go one inch in front without things hitting. I know because that is the way that my bike is sitting now.
  2. Make the bike closer to the ground. Sorry, I couldn't help it. It does help if you are short or for drag racing. If you like the corners, you will drag things. You will have to drop the front also.
  3. It does help to wear socks and boots.
  4. Yes, this has happened to me on more than one bike. Try charging the battery, it don't cost anything.
  5. This is a sign not to sell it. :icon_snooty: I would use the battery from the XX.
  6. Pretty much the opposite for me (my other is a Wing though). About 1 1/2 hours on the Bird and it feels like someone is pushing a very large knife through my knees. So it different for different people.
  7. Do you BURP it by putting the air in the cap area or up from the bottom?
  8. Why not plug them with rubber caps instead of "creating a short circuit"? Good job on the photos.
  9. As I recall, when they went to the FI, they made the rad smaller.
  10. To change the rear ride height. I never liked the looks of that one. Never looked strong enough to me. I have the non-adjustable one.
  11. That looks like a great little pump XXRider.
  12. Once you get the carbs off, it's pretty easy. As far as getting it "dialed in", it has been different for different people on here. Mine were "set it and forget it" and it runs perfect. Others chose adjust it many times. I can't see how you could adjust the carbs without taking the tank off but I have never tried.
  13. I have often thought how strange it is that a top fuel car can cover half the track (1/8 mile) at 275 mph but takes the other half of the track to go 330 mph (only 55 mph more). Oh, that is at 8,000 HP.
  14. There is no fuel filter on a 97.
  15. Thanks, information is a good thing.
  16. I just checked the AFAM aluminum rear sprockets and they are $80. I always thought the steel cost more?
  17. You can get a new Honda brand rear sprocket for $40?
  18. I have the Dyno Jet kit with perfect results.
