  1. I did it my self, using the instruction and a video tape included. For example they give you the number of shims to combine for the rebound, but they don't mention anything about the compression damping. So the compression's shims are stock, other than the 1 mm hole that you have to drill in the compression ports. So I really don't know if I did something wrong. Any way as I mention before, with the mods is better than stock, so it worth the investment.
  2. Thanks Randy, it is a fact, I just paid it. They are going to have it ready for friday, so I will tell you later how I feel with it, and I do keep my XX, that is another bike that I'm in love with it. Thanks again. Gerardo
  3. Hi guys, I know that many of you have a second bike for the track or the twisted road. I mean the RC51, I am about to buy one, but want to know your insight of the bike, specilly on the following matters - How hot is hot for that bike, I have been told that runs really hot, between 220 ºF to 240 ºF is that normal and is that true? - How crampy is it, could you go easily a couple hours riding it in the road without suffering from muscle cramps or painful neck, wrist or knees. - How fun is to ride it - Anything else you want to share. Thanks
  4. Great, I will wait till you give me your results. Thanks
  5. With the Exhaust and the PCIII, the bike went to 32 mpg, which is a lot of fuel per miles, if you go down one in the front sprocket (16), who can tell me how will be the fuel consumption, will I need a fuel truck to follow me  or it won't be so thirsty.
  6. As Northman stated, many have different brands, but the Metz M1 are really good, they stick like glue, but it will last about 3k miles or a bit more, I really like them. About the size, I have use 190 and slow you down, not worth it at all.
  7. Metzeler Sportec M1
  8. I totally agree with Mithrandir, When you change the geometry of the rake for less angle, your bike turn easily but loose stability at high speed, a nervous front end and the rear tire loose traction. There are some free download stuff in the Ohlins web site which explain what happens when you change the geometry of your bike. I can not tell if that your case but could be a mix of thing, all together.
  9. Erixx, I just become a member of the spanish SuperBlackbird  . It will be nice to have other comments from you guys in Spain, by the way I know the Honda sales director in Barcelona, if you ever need somthing there. I have modified the suspension, use RaceTech products, but there are also some other brands as Ohlins, which I know is really a good brands. See their website www.ohlins.com, there are very useful information there, and if you would like to know about my findings with RaceTech, with pleasure I let you know.
  10. I did buy the Heli Bar and they are much more comfortable than the stock ones, expensive do. The installation it is a walk in the park. The hidraulic lines from the clutch to move the banjo fitting a bit to the side, you has to cut a piece of the base, that it is all to it, then is really easy to install it.
  11. That behavior is normal in the FI model, the PC commander solve pretty much this problem.

    D205 MILEAGE?

I haven't tried the Avon tires, but I have tried the Metzeler Sportec, who has experience both brands and what are the difference, cause the M1 are really good tires.
  13. Sorry for the ignorance, but enlight me, What is a HID kit and where I may look for it
