Ditto that... I'm interested in the specs too. My '97's (cal model) is jetted also. Slight hesitation at 16th throttle now though. Other than that it runs great!

Hello everyone, I seem to be getting really shitty gas mileage out of my bird lately ('97 with jetting+exhaust). It's running tits, but damned if i can get more that 120mi. out of a full tank (gas gauge at Empty only, not running with reserve light). What mi. are you guys getting?

I have to say that my xx is solid as a rock at all speeds. Of course i'm just comming off a '84 gpz750 Turbo. Now that bike take a little finagling in a high speed turn (you learn to expect/compensate though). In any case i love the way my xx handles (i have the racetech front and rear done though). :wink:

I have a ZVMG (black/gold). No problems yet. I clean/lube it every 500mi though.

I have a DID Gold too. What a bi'ch it is getting that oil off ( ).

I think you right about the lighting on the xx. I can't see a damn thing. Even the instrument pannel is somewhat dim. I'm looking at upgrading my low-beam bulb from a 55w to a 100w. Hopefully that will do it. I don't know about any aftermarket add-ons available. Anyone else install something custom?

I have the same problem. I'm about 220lbs and have very strong hands (having worked on motorcycles/cars since I was a kid). I never felt a screw that tight (why didn't they use hex's). I put all my strength into that damn screw pressing, twisting, and cursing... ( :fart: ) f'ng thing wouln't budge. So I broke out the WD-40, hosed down the bi'ch, and waited a while (cooling down with a beer). Back I went, pressing and twisting, and cursing... f'ng f'ng thing. No love. Now what? :cry:

I don't have much experience with the Avon's. I usually have used Metzlers. Has anyone used the Metzler ME3's or 4's?

I've always used Specto Golden 10-40 (synthetic) for my bikes. It's a little pricey, but never let me down. Changed every 2,500mi.

Try maintaining a polished bike. More like an hour every time you ride.

I have the Racetech mod done to mine. It makes sound, but not a sweak, more like a "psht" sound. Kinda like an air compressor only hydraulic.

I does sound silly, but the Honda polish is terrific and works on everything.
