  1. Ah, so yeah, better than handheld, but not like a real cabinet saw. I've gone through many iterations of light contractor saws and now have a Unisaw. What you said about careful setup explains the precision.
  2. It's impressive with handheld tools. I work to a 64th but on highly precise stationary machines.
  3. Bastards. There was a major change that should have been noted in the release notes but they kind of lumped it with general security updates. It conflicted with a plugin (add on) and therefore took the whole thing offline. Dave, pro-rated 15 minute refund coming.
  4. No, they are firm with good texture. The soft white beans like Colombians get less time to keep them from getting mushy. Probably about 24 minutes.
  5. "Somehow." Thanks!!! Will be sampled later after working on some donation bikes.
  6. I go through a lot of beans too. Lately, I think that Beano actually causes gas for me. More experimentation and logging is needed.
  7. Heh. I forget some of the psychological effects, though I joked about it above. Several friends who needed them had positive personality changes after. I mean, go figure, lack of oxygen to the brain...
  8. WTF are you people putting in your drugs?? When I tried the generic it had absolutely no smell and no side effect.
  9. I'll need an IRS form for the barter and a tax stamp on the distillates to make sure we report it all properly.
  10. Any time this weekend is fine. Next weekend I may be in Vegas or in Oklahoma City. But the chick will still be here. (And now I just realized you're probably going to plan for next weekend.)
  11. If you have time to bring some local hooch, I always take trades. Oh, and shit, is it THIS Saturday or next?
  12. You are insane. Shit, I missed OMG's reply, but PP is fine. The goat sounds more intriguing. Pics? Male or female? Or undecided? Do you want to just bring me the goat when you're here next week, and if so, will you be -ahem- "using" it on the way?
  13. LOL, no, I think you're insane to pay early. I never do. What you're seeing are the kickbacks rolling in. I pay once a month on the due date, no sooner.
  14. I just realized I've had this sitting for a year unused. It comes with everything that it included originally, paperwork, cables, mounts, etc. I had it installed for about two years. So obviously the stock sticky pad has been used. Checked it and upgraded firmware just now. Condition is perfect. They seem to go for $140 plus shipping on eBay, how about $125 shipped?
  15. Ducati Creates Super Helpful Scale That Tells You Your Dry Weight In an effort to make everyone’s life a little better, Ducati has launched a new scale that only shows a person’s dry weight – their total weight after ignoring insignificant factors such as water, blood, saliva, etc. “We found that ‘traditional’ scales on the market just don’t make any sense,” said Francesco Bianchi, head of research & development at Ducati. “How can you fairly calculate a person’s weight when different bodies hold different amounts of fluid? I mean the obvious example is that men have Semen and women don’t. It’s just not fair.” To even the playing field, Ducati’s state-of-the-art scale takes bodily fluids out of the equation. It works by scanning the body, ignoring 70% of what makes a human body function, and then calculates the person’s dry weight. For those who prefer the more traditional ‘wet weight’ numbers, Ducati says you can find out how much fluid is in your body with this simple equation: total body water = 2.447 − 0.09516 A + 0.1074 height + 0.3362 weight (liters) (yr) (cm) (kg) (SD: 3.76, r2: 70.4%) “Not only does this help people feel better about themselves by artificially lowering numbers to improve self-esteem, but it also makes everyone better at math,” Francesco said. “It is a win-win for everyone.” The scale will be in dealerships in the next few months and customers will have the option to choose from two colors: Ducati Red or Ducati Red.
  16. To build on this, I've gone through a few of these nasal steroids, and they are helpful for me in the long term, but don't solve acute symptoms. I'm using Fluticasone spray, Montelukast, and generic Levocetirizne (thanks Phillip) to pretty good effect for most of the year. Right now I'm having to supplement about once a day with a tiny squirt of decongestant on the right side. I lean to far that way apparently and need to be treated for it. Solving for this may best be done by an allergist. As far as the addiction to CPAP and emotional relationship with it, I've seen it. My friends who've had their lives changed by it treat it as if it's a heart-lung machine in level of importance. I've rigged inverters and buck converters to support my friends' needs while camping. They are panicked at the thought of not having the machine. That's how much it improved life. I wonder how your political views will change once your brain has oxygen.
  17. So you're fighting the expert advice because you are too smart and already know how it will all fail. Shocker. Your knowledge of CPAP machines is rivaled only by your understanding of RO systems. Seriously man, for once just stop it.
  18. Pre Afrin there was another spray, don't remember the name. Maybe that? Downside is 4-6 hour effectiveness. If you need a CPAP this will change your life. Worth the effort.
  19. Yes, both of those things are correct. You use self calibrating without a real study for light issues, and self calibrating with a sleep study for severe ones. Still self calibrating based on the data from the study. One of my friends has the most severe form possible, and once they moved him to a self calibrating machine a few years ago he says it's been fantastic. He would dip into low 70s SPO2, which is all kinds of fucked. You can simply use Afrin short term to remove congestion all night and see how the machine works. Afrin should not be used long term. Also ignore the dosage, start with a super light single spray and wait 20 minutes before judging the effect. I've been using it as-needed for allergies most of my life, no sinus damage, and a very minimal amount works just not instantly.
  20. A few of my friends have auto-calibrating, self-reporting machines. If you didn't get that, you're being ripped off. They will all tell you that breathing properly during sleep definitely changed their lives. Do you also have allergies and/or other sinus issues? The machine may reduce allergy problems but you have to get past the current set of symptoms, such as by using a decongestant.
  21. I have to assume that NJ>WA is farther or otherwise more expensive than AZ>NJ. I'm interested in this because I'm currently reviewing our shipping options and what we do. It's odd how things change. A few days ago I went to send something to a place in VA that had no overnight options, and was expensive.
