Sprout's is our source here, not sure of other sources. And the Breville's pizza mode does a perfect job, you do need to turn it when the turn timer goes off.

Moriah loves this stuff. She has some gastrointestinal issues if she has too much cheese/dairy, so she's cut back for that reason. I found these a month ago and she has them on the permanent shopping list. She says the crust is crispier than a "real" crust with a better texture, and it doesn't stay soggy in the middle like many do. It's not perfectly whole food, but very close. I haven't tried it, as I hate artichokes and olives. I had a crust edge and agree it was very good.

On the XX if I ran that high up front, it was shit. Every other bike has been different, I can't think of any bike that tuned well at the same PSI front and rear. EDIT: I got my first good tuning advice on the XX from Avon, as they sent me some of their first XX-specific tires (rated for the speed and weight), and wanted good feedback.

I should clarify that my ratcheting combo wrenches are newer vintage. 2006-2010 range pretty sure. When Craftsman came up with a new version that wasn't clunky, I replaced all my wrenches with those. Sockets are much older. Some screwdrivers date back to pre-1980. If I had to shop today, for both manual hand tools and battery powered handheld tools, Kobalt would be top of my list to start looking. That's not to say I'm sure they are better, but that my very limited exposure to them tells me they are *A* top choice. I might still also consider HF, I keep hearing more and more good things about their sockets.

Well, I did say it was a great bike and a great ride, and great friends. -
I've got a box full of Craftsman, mostly 25-35 years old. Not sure how that helps you shop today. I had one wrench replaced under the lifetime guarantee though and absolutely love the new one. Way nicer than the old one, very fine ratcheting. I also have the combo open end/ratcheting box from them and love those.

Right after troubleshooting the fucking Nokia BPM not connecting to my phone: 127/85. Five minutes later after I stopped being pissed off at it: 119/81 Conclusion: Measuring your BP is bad for your health.

Fedex is super cheap and easy for shipment of big heavy boxes. I would bet you could do ground for $60. Slap a label on the box and drop off. UPS is second best, but DO NOT pay retail rate. Buy online and label it. Retail is like 50% more. -
The common brand chili powder is actually a blend, and has a whopping 120mg sodium per TEASPOON. Who the fuck uses only a teaspoon? I would consider around 3 tbsp to be a basic amount for a couple servings. So that adds up quickly, particularly with other sneaky sodium providers like canned stuff. You can find no-salt versions, but have to look. And maybe not in the local stores. https://smile.amazon.com/s?k=no+salt+Chili+Powder&i=grocery&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

Dehydrated instant meals, whole food, shelf stable

https://www.goleafside.com/ I've been buying these for a few months. I consume around ten a month I think. Just convenient whole food meals. Great for travel and camping, just add hot water. Reasonably tasty, I tune them with some pepper flakes or things like that. -
Funny. Old Michelins gave me a wobble.

There are a bunch of similar recipes out there for this, but all of them use a shitload of oil and/or mayo. I substitute some tahini and water for the oil/mayo, and it works great. 40g tahini 60g Sriracha 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce or coco aminos 1 tsp honey 1 tbsp lemon or lime juice 2 cloves garlic, crushed or minced 1 pound broccoli or cauliflower or both (around 450g if you work in metric like I do) 1 tsp white pepper 1/4 cup chopped cilantro, or use 1 tbsp of coriander if you don't have fresh cilantro Preheat air frying to 480. Whisk together the spices and wet ingredients. Add water as needed to keep it liquid enough to coat the broccoli well. Add/mix the broccoli. Roast for 8 minutes and turn/flip to cook evenly, roast another 5 minutes. Top with cilantro, serve with rice, noodles, whatever. For a spicier option, if you have it, add Sichuan red chile flakes or powder. TIP: I measure sticky ingredients like tahini and peanut butter with a scale, to avoid a mess. Conversions are easy. Honey is messy, but then, everyone can guesstimate a teaspoon of honey, so I just drop in what looks right. Another tip: If you have time, make the sauce an hour ahead of time and let it sit to combine flavors better.

Yeah, everything tasted super salty. 100% of everything. One particular dish burned my lips with salt, so I assume that one was actually was super high. Back to real food, and super low sodium. -

I was pissing like a race horse all day, and into the night, with less than normal water intake. -

Kitchen tools, containers, ways to take real food on the go

The ones I linked to above are pretty tough. Lids are solid, and no-leak. You can put those in a cooler with ice and not end up with meals full of water. Also GREAT point about local restaurant suppliers, almost all let you walk in and buy. You can get bulk things cheap, like if you wanted 20 cheap semi-disposable aluminum pans for a cook-off. Quart mason jars are a re-usable way to cheaply store/carry things too. If you don't have access to a microwave, those can be put on a hot engine to warm up. -
https://nutritionfacts.org/video/the-protein-combining-myth/ Those eating plant-based diets average about twice the estimated average daily protein requirement. The myth that plant proteins are incomplete, necessitating protein combining, was debunked by the scientific nutrition community decades ago. Decades ago, there was a move to convince people that they needed animal proteins, and specifically multiple animal proteins. That was completely false, but the myth or at least the general background fear still exists. Probably the most common question I get about eating only plants is "where do you get your protein." I wish there were an easy way to let people know that both they've been lied to, and that plants contain the amino acids you need. Q. It seems that many people who are not elite athletes are now hyper-focused on protein consumption. How much protein does the average adult need to consume daily? A. The recommended intake for a healthy adult is 46 grams of protein a day for women and 56 grams for men. And while protein malnutrition is a problem for millions of people around the globe, for the average adult in developed countries, we are eating far more protein than we actually need. Most American adults eat about 100 grams of protein per day, or roughly twice the recommended amount. Even on a vegan diet people can easily get 60 to 80 grams of protein throughout the day from foods like beans, legumes, nuts, broccoli and whole grains. The Hartman Group, a consumer research firm that has been conducting a study of American food culture over the past 25 years and counting, has found that nearly 60 percent of Americans are now actively trying to increase their protein intake. Many are avoiding sugar and simple carbohydrates and turning to protein-rich foods, snacks and supplements. The firm calls protein “the new low-fat” or “the new low-carb,” even “the new everything when it comes to diet and energy.” “Soccer moms feel they can’t be anywhere without protein,” says Melissa Abbott, the firm’s vice president for culinary insights. “Really it’s that we’ve been eating so many highly processed carbs for so long. Now it’s like you try nuts, or you try an egg again, or fat even” to feel full and help you “get through the day.” In her research, Ms. Abbott said she always seems to be finding beef jerky in gym bags and purses, and protein bars in laptop bags or glove compartments. Many consumers, she notes, say they are afraid that without enough protein they will “crash,” similar to the fear of crashing, or “bonking,” among those who are elite athletes. But most of us are getting more than enough protein. And few seem to be aware that there may be long-term risks of consuming too much protein, including a potential increased risk of kidney damage. To learn more, read “Can You Get Too Much Protein?” Sophie Egan is the author of the book “Devoured: How What We Eat Defines Who We Are,” recently released in paperback.

I accidentally drank the decaf and didn't realize it. Does that mean I'm not addicted? Salads...the feeble attempts to provide one healthy item on each menu was just nutritionless grass with a heaping of oil and salt in the guise of "dressing." -
During NeXXt, I did as the Romans did and ate generic American diner trash for most meals. Ugh. The salt. The grease. I think they simply don't have tops on their salt shakers. It's funny, a couple of Yelp reviews for one place specifically mentioned the saltiness. Nobody there seems to know how to cook or spice things, so they just add grease and salt. From Wednesday to Sunday, I gained 12 pounds. I said twelve. That's a one and a two. I'm sure that's mostly retained fluids/inflammation/whatever you want to call it. Insane. Today's lunch is wild rice with jalapeños and ginger with a bunch of grilled cauliflower and broccoli. I'd like to shit normally again and not have a tight watch band.

What size is your AC, if you plan to run that? The starting of a marine or RV air conditioner is where these small generators get challenged. Otherwise, yeah, fucking great. I've owned three inverter generators, including one Honda 2000. I'm happy to give real world feedback if anyone wants it. -
