  1. My garages and house have fire suppression too, which makes me even more retarded about it. Plus, insurance.
  2. Long story short...and boy is it a FUCKING LONG story trying to figure out what insurance covers what or does not...I'm paying "cash." $300 literal fucking cash to the anesthesiologist. Is he basically just going to South Phoenix to pick up something to give me? WTF! Also what is "anesthesia" for this? I get one Versed pill, which the doctor says is more for his benefit than mine. Is that $300???? Da fuck? They called me to inform me about the cash thing, because as she said, "Nobody uses or takes cash any more." True. $1k "cash" meaning what everyone says is cash now, as in pay up front, on a credit card. Or debit. You know how much I love debit. And $4828.83 billed to CareCredit 18 months same as cash. This is how the poor get poorer and people sign up to get scammed. If I fail to pay, the interest on that is 32.9%. And if a person were to miss a payment or otherwise do anything wrong, it goes to 39.9%. I'll play the game as I get 3-5% cash back up front, that's the hook. Joke's on them, I can pay this off and will never pay interest. That's a sin according to the bible. So a shitload of money, but I will have better eyesight in that one eye than I did as a kid. First time in life without astigmatism.
  3. It really doesn't matter unless you stop the drug that it may interact with, or just say fuck it and risk it, right? I just saw a post by someone with recurring mystery colitis that he hasn't had a recurrence in a year on BPC-157. No idea if that could be related to what you are trying to fix.
  4. Last thing I'd do, for sure.
  5. A kid is doing his science homework and he asks his father, “What is the difference between theory and reality?” The father replies, “Well… Go ask your sister if she would have sex with the neighbor for $1,000,000.” He goes and does it and comes back, “She said she would.” The father says, “Now go ask your mother.” He goes and does it and comes back, “She said she would too.” To this the father says, “See, in theory we are sitting on $2,000,000. But in reality we just live with a couple of whores.” (And have an empty air tank when we need it.)
  6. Oscar miswired one panel and the transverse sinusoidal deplenaration caused a magnetic lift effect.
  7. So a guy puts his wifi router on a home automation switch, and turns it off when he leaves, and complains that he can't turn it back on remotely... I've read often that wires get loose over time.
  8. It was higher-end Chinesium metal, not Walmart, but the cushions were not as promised. I had put a five year "anything that happens" warranty on it, which paid us the full cost back ($600) since they couldn't repair it. So it was free, other than the repairs. On top of that it matches everything else much better than it did. I didn't like the colors at all, but loved the function and solid metal.
  9. Yup, the two sides swing up to face each other.
  10. Yes, there are a fuckload of dangerous interactions. Pick your poison. But the BPC recommendation still applies.
  11. Oh, when you look at BPC-157 do the research outside of buying sites, mostly. Some are full of shit, many/most are oriented to injectable which has no effect on the gut (and likewise, the oral will not give the systemic benefits). There are also complete bullshit products like "BPC-158, the new BPC-157!" which are completely without merit. To my knowledge you won't get the real thing from any mainstream source like Amazon.
  12. I was going camping and riding with a friend and for one night, his friend was joining us. Who can be kind of a minor asshole. He has literally challenged someone to a pissing match in camp. So I prepared. I had 24mg of MB twice, a few hours apart, and purposely under hydrated. We were having a science discussion and he spouted some shit, and the time was ripe. I said, "Jack, by the way, I've taught myself to piss blue on command." He was drunk enough to bite. Expected arguments ensued. I dug a hole behind a cactus, stuck a disposable camp bowl in it, and filled it. I don't think he'll ever be the same, and nobody has told him the truth. Anyway, you should carefully research oral BPC-157, particularly tinctures not capsules/tablets. And I have sources. In fact I'd just make you one batch and send it (semi expensive lyophilized injectable version but worth one try). It's endogenous to and derived from the gut, risk is ultra low (I'd call it zero...heh, Zero). As noted above, that product is sketchy as fuck. Check this out: https://www.fakespot.com/product/methylene-blue-capsules-60-capsules-methylene-blue-pharmaceutical-grade-with-vitamin-c-cacao-powder-for-enhanced-absorption-antioxidant-anti-aging-memory-focus-clarity-cognition-and-energy I've seen the test results from someone I trust on this one, and she gives it to her patients: https://www.amazon.com/Nutricel-Supplements-Methylene-Enhanced-Absorption/dp/B0CQMY4JPW It can also be done as a tincture, which I have the parts to make, but lack expertise on properly dealing with it. (The BPC is very straightforward, different thing.) I don't think it matters though, I see no evidence that dry MB is less effective, unlike BPC.
  13. We should import more cheap HA products I guess.
  14. Nice improvement in our space, and a question. Moriah was convinced that the cushions were custom sized, and I believed her, so I didn't shop for them at first. We dealt with this being fucked up for way too long. It finally hit me that she thought this because they had takes three normal ones and sewed one edge together. Also, "standard" is a range so you can find them slightly off but will still fit. And then the metal needed care. And the top. So... Three cans of hammer finish spray paint, $30 Amazon cushion covers (our filler was fine), $60 Top fabric and thread, $45 My neighbor sewed the top for me, and did a great job. This material is vastly better than stock, so I expect a lot more time from it. The original was damaged by some kind of animal fight on it, to maybe not if that happens again. One thing these don't have is an attachment to keep them from blowing off. Not a big deal, but bright ideas to do this without a machine? I'm thinking a double-sided Velcro attached with a fabric rivet (I have those). Or canvas snaps (have those too).
  15. Why would you assume it's a problem?
  16. I'm not aware of any that don't...?? That's the entire point of them. Now I just have to decide between $$ wasted and time spent bitching.
  17. The downside to the occupancy sensor is when I have to go tend to the 3D printer every 15 minutes, and it turns off the lights at 10, and I'm a whiny lazy bitch and have to press a fucking button AGAIN.
  18. Shiiiiiit. I put an occupancy sensor in the shop, so the home automation turns off the lights if I leave. I have a lot of light in there, it's something like 800 watts I think. My compressor is on at all times though. Too lazy to do otherwise.
  19. My neighbor bought a Noco and so far, not one battery has been restored. Could be coincidence since my Renaissance fails on some batteries. I asked him to give me one to try after the Noco failed and he forgot and turned it in.
  20. AC raises the relative humidity here. You read that right. Remember that it's relative. So while it's reducing AH obviously, it's so hot and dry that RH goes up, not down. I leave the humidifier on, but it rarely runs. Of course "everyone" tells me this is not how it works, and yet I have data. My relatives in FL run the AC below 70, so their AC discharge is a fire hydrant, and the house is insanely uncomfortable. The humidity actually approaches 0 and it's fucking freezing. I wear a jacket.
  21. With the only caveat being that if you have some specific immune issues or take any immunosuppressives, you might not have lifelong immunity. Pretty sure I had it and of course had the vaccine. It's amusing and sad to me what Americans take for granted and now fight--great vaccine availability. Compared to how much my parents treated vaccination as a major new benefit of moving to the US. Cubans would get on a 55 gallon drum to float here to get what Americans now stupidly reject.
  22. The humidity question prompted me to re-think it, and realize that when I said "50% that's the machine setting. The reality is that due to loss and that sometimes we don't have a lot of air movement, much of the house is far too low. So looking at how to solve this. The humidifier doesn't participate in the home control stuff; it's really dumb. So it can't be told to do anything based on the remote sensors--yet. I do have pretty good programmability for minimum air movement which may be a great solution. Testing that now (running air for two hours, measuring the result).
  23. I bet I can outline his religious and political beliefs with an extremely high degree of accuracy. Possibly his vehicle, beer choice, and how often he beats his wife.
