  1. Electrical mainly computer (have a pc?) - Have ECU, no pc (I'm assuming "power commander") Headlight housing, taillight- Have both, completely intact Seat- have seat, no damage that I recall but will double check Tool strap not sure, but if it's here, it's yours. Stock or aftermarket header? Stock Stock pegs or rearsets? Stock, and now that I think about it I think the right one might be partially or completely gone. Maybe just the brake pedal? Have to check. Joe, you have a PM.
  2. Okay, gents, I have what's left of an '02 XX sitting in my garage that I need to finally close the book on. It's uncrashed and complete with the exceptions listed below- Forks- gone Rear shock- gone Gauge cluster- gone Front wheel/rotors- gone Seat- gone Motor- gone (still have FI, wiring, etc.) ECU- gone Rear rotor- gone Switch pods, left and right- gone Undertail- gone Body kit- sale pending Front pegs- gone (just the pegs, mounts are still here) I think everything else is still out there. I figured if there's any interest in larger items RacerXX might be a good nexus to utilize the .org network to distribute them and avoid the cost and PITA of shipping. I'm not looking to cash in on this stuff, just need to clear it out. Larger items of note- *Motor SOLD - ~115k on it, new stator. Was running great when the stator went to shit 4+ years ago, hasn't been started since. *Frame- clear and clean title. I still need to transfer the title to myself, so a delay may be possible on that. *Bodywork SALE PENDING- complete OEM set, tank, mirror housings and grab rail, all of it. No cracks or significant damage, but it's all been coated in DIY bedliner, yes the tank, too. I think it looks badass, but then again I'm the one who decided to do it. For those concerned about the additional weight, less than 1/2 gallon of Heculiner was used on all of it, maybe 4 pounds before it cured. I'm willing to deal on the body set in particular because it probably all needs to go to the same buyer and it would be a huge pain to ship. Go ahead and lowball me. *Rear wheel with a five year old but low mileage (~500) PR3 (I think) mounted. And the rest of the bike with noted exceptions. You need something, let me know, this shit needs to be gone. edit- I spoke to soon as far as "uncrashed", as I've now noticed a bit of rash on the stator cover. Still, nothing is bent or cracked and the bodywork is undamaged under the coating beyond what you'd expect after 100k+ miles.
  3. Just saw this, Bill. Are you talking about the set you're thinking about picking up from me? Those are Givis with a Wingrack, not Corbins. If you are still interested in those, drop me a line. We might be able to enlist Hobie to help get them to you via RacerXX, as I will be taking the car down this year and could bring them with. Also, I'm not sure the hardware is missing, I just don't know where it is. I'll dig everything out this week and let you know, assuming you're still interested.
  4. LOL. Back on topic. Split squats and something called "goblet squats" are both options I came across in my internet research. Lunges are already in the rotation. My ceiling in the basement isn't high enough for any step work over about 15" not enough, IMO. The problem is partially fear if I'm being honest. As of right now my back is feeling much better, probably 80-90%, but in the back of my head I'm waiting for that little twinge that tells me I just fucked up. Last year was not pleasant and I was literally laid up for 3 weeks. Really don't want to go back there.
  5. Just because we've never banned anyone doesn't mean there's not a button around here somewhere.
  6. And throbosed hemorrhoids, can't forget about those. Wish I could, but....
  7. Thank you for the input. I'm still trying to keep some weightlifting in the rotation but strictly body weight based exercises might be the direction I'm ultimately headed. Not yet, though. I'd be picking up a few boxes of that a seeing if it worked reliably for more than four rounds. If it does, next step is comparing every metric possible with your hand loads. I still think you have a gun problem, but you might find a work around for it.
  8. The chrono was your pressure sign, better then reading brass every single time, assuming you're using appropriate powder. The cycling issue, I have no clue at this point. Sound like a gun problem rather than an ammo problem, but assisting with troubleshooting from 2000 miles away doesn't work very well. What was your buddy shooting for ammo?
  9. A power rack, or cage, is a pretty simple device. It's really just a piece of safety equipment to keep you from dropping heavy things on shit that you shouldn't drop heavy things on. The main issue is getting enough weight on my legs without having to support it with my back, or at least being able to keep my back straighter than that fella in my last post. Looking around online I've found a few options. Not optimal, but neither is laying around waiting for my back to feel better. 3500 FPS? Dude, that's a fucking hot load, and in mixed brass, no less. You have bigger balls than me, I would have stopped around at 3200-3300 with matched brass, probably much sooner with mixed. Seriously, if you're going to play around above max you need to pay very close attention to the little shit or your rifle problem is going to solve itself sooner or later. Not intending to be preachy, but you're playing in dangerous territory and I'd hate to see you blow something up. Covered above, and yes. Unweighted squats are basically cardio for me. Not completely useless, but not aligned with what I'm trying to do. My legs are skinny enough without me skipping leg day LOL, that whole post is so you. It was all completely useless, but it made me laugh, so thanks. (:
  10. Yeah, I think we're talking about different kinds of squats. I can do unweighted squats all day. Can't do that in a doorway. Don't sweat the gauges, still no hurry here. That rifle is turning into a real pain in the ass, isn't it?
  11. I'm getting too old for the shit. My habit the last few years has been to drop off the training in summer when I'm swamped with work then pick it back up over fall/winter and hit it pretty heavy when I have a lot more free time. Last year I got sidelined by a fucked up back (unrelated the weightlifting, I was picking up a laundry basket, LOL) early in the process. I actually ended up in the hospital and that was it for the year. This year I've been on the program since just before Thanksgiving and making good progress. About an hour ago I once again tweaked my back, this time squatting. Nothing serious but it was enough that I stopped right there and am not sure when I'm going to get back to it. I warm up, my form is good, I stretch daily and do more core exercises than anything else. I keep the weights light- most of my lifts are at 60-70% of where they were a few years ago, don't give a shit about numbers, just tying to stay in shape. It might be time to admit a 47 year old roofer can't squat with free weights without some risk of tweaking something. I was not kind to my body in my 20's and 30's and I think I'm beginning to pay for that now. So, what are my alternatives? I work out at home and am pretty well set up with a power rack, dumbbells, pull-up bar, etc. Is there anything that can replace squats that has less lower back involvement without buying a fucking leg press?
  12. 15" wrists? Crap dude, I know you're a big guy but my fucking neck is 17". Do you use women's belts for watch bands?
  13. I have a set of these- At 24" they're easily tall enough for the truck. They also came in handy as stands for the track bike- put 'em under the frame sliders and you could strip the whole thing down to motor and frame.
  14. My guess is unless your idea of "easily" includes partially redesigning the frame and a fair bit of welding the answer is no.
  15. Sounds normal to me, these things do run hot. My '01 (digital gauge) would run 180-200 when moving, but it'd jump up to 240-250 quick in stop and go traffic.
  16. I have a Wingrack and a couple Givi hard bags (E31's, I think? They're midsized, not huge and not small) that I'd cut you a deal on. You might need to source some hardware for the rack and the bags have been coated in bedliner, but I'm not looking for much. Leftovers from my abandoned rat tourer project, better off getting used by you than continuing to collect dust in my garage. Shipping would be a bitch, but we're close enough maybe something could be worked through the .org network with a little patience.
  17. Arrived today in literally like new condition will all the original packaging. My daughter was there when I unboxed it and actually thought I bought a new iPad. Two thumbs up and five stars.
  18. Gotta be better than this Tab2 piece of shit I've been using for way too long. PM me with payment info, I'll take it.
  19. You going to street the SV, or is this another project?
  20. Sorry, missed this yesterday. No experience with anything else and yes, it does drop crap all over whatever is under it. That would be a concrete floor in my case, not a big deal. While 5 would certainly be better than three, I have yest to use more than two at any given time. Not having to swap out the heads as often would be an improvement. Ergonomics, I do like that I can sit at the bench and push stuff straight into it. Seems like a natural motion and if I need to put some weight into, it's no problem. The qualifier is it must be mounted solidly. I can't imagine using this thing loose on the bench. That's probably less of a problem with something you're pushing down on.
  21. I read the title and thought "3k for a '98? Good luck with that". Then I looked at it and 3k seems like a deal, that thing is spotless.
  22. Another missed Amazon return window. I needed 26" tires, ordered these by accident. Alcohol may have been involved. Tires are brand new and never mounted. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000IQ9OJE/ref=twister_dp_update?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Donate to the human fund and send me an address.
  23. I ordered this from Amazon last year, first one arrived broken- motor turned but output shafts did not, made an odd clicking noise. Couple minutes on the computer and I had a new one on the way and a return label for the defective one printed. Life got in the way and I missed the return window. Great, $90 paperweight. Having nothing to lose, today I finally got around to to pulling it apart to see if I could fix it. A small screw had come loose on the interior and was binding the gears, literally a five minute fix. It's now fully functional and brand new in box. https://www.amazon.com/Hornady-Lock-Load-Case-Prep/dp/B007TNXAGM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469225531&sr=8-1&keywords=hornady+trio Make a donation to the human fund of whatever amount you feel is appropriate and send me your address and it's on it's way to you.
  24. My '01 dynoed at 139 bone stock. I heard it theorized here long ago that the carbies had more of a dip at 5k and thus seemed to pull harder when they came back on.
  25. Joe, for what you can get a basic flat screen TV for these days, it ain't worth driving "a few hundred miles" for anything but a free TV. The wife bought a 42" 780p from Amazon earlier this year for $320, delivered (stand included). It's short on features but would easily meet your stated needs, for slightly more you'd be in the 50" range. TV's have gotten stupid cheap, have you shopped around a bit? Off topic, remember when a 27" was a "big screen"?
