  1. Hi gang. I have a fella interested in my XX. A neighbour, so I'm really excited for it to go to someone who will respect and care for her. I need some parts though. black fuel tube goes between carb three and four. maybe both as they are silly brittle. left Inner cowl. one below the one that goes halfway around instruments on the left.
  2. Dave, did you get the PayPal? Want to be sure I've paid my dues.
  3. It's been 47 minutes....update? Does it work?
  4. Damn it!!!! I had an alert set for any time Dave sell something. Shit. Better go check my script programming.
  5. I've got a a 97 with 126k miles on it. It has seen a fair bit of sun, but I try to keep it out of the rain. It's not MINT by any standards, but people still are impressed with the age and it's shape. If the one you are looking at has not been neglected, you should be fine (assuming you aren't too OCD). Pretty much what others are saying.
  6. Well, If memory serves, this is my second set. I didn't say all 230k was on the original, someone asked how many KM and I thought they meant on the bike. This clutch defenately has about 130+km on it for sure. Ok, so I'm going to ignore the engage point, but instead point out that when it does engage it seems to pulse a little. So I'll do the fluid and polish and lube the rod. Then if the mild "chatter" is still there after I'll break into well soaked OEM friction plates. Thanks everyone for your input. Think this is the best direction to go and it won't cost me a fortune up front.
  7. I'm at approx 120k miles. What do we want to replace with? I'm hearing rumours that OEM is the best to go with? And I likely want to do springs, pressure plates and friction plates all at the same time? I'll polish and lube my rod (stop giggling), and flush the fluid while I'm at it.

    Yes...boobies. I must agree.

Now, put a mount in the centre for when you only have ONE bike on there.
  10. My clutch isn't engaging until the very end of my lever travel. If I move the lever even a smidge...the clutch will slip. I don't recall any type of adjustment for this. Could my clutch plates be wearing thin? it's been a decade + since I've replaced any type of clutch plates on a bike so I've long forgotten what the symptoms are.
  11. Link is closer now, at least the device also does negative pressure. It's a vacuum today!

    Voltmeter

Nice! I've just ordered one. Thanks.
  13. We have one of these, it's pretty handy. I learned quick not to vacuum seal muffins.
  14. UG, if the CDN dollar wasn't so crappy, I'd snag that. But it would cost me nearly 300
  15. I like the skirting and the colour. That's mean.
  16. OMG I'd give my left kidney for this. However, being about 18 hours north of you, I can't see it making it here.
  17. So, I'm looking at a property that needs to be mowed and it's bigger than I want to push a lawn mower along. So.... it also has a fairly long driveway behind the house to the shop. I'd like to have snowblower option now or in teh future. Lastly, i'd like it to be able to handle something heavier than just lawn grass as a couple acres of the property is tall grass/weed. I don't WANT to pay a mint, so I'll end up having to give on something I want as the complete package would be hideous, so I don't mind starting with the tractor, then adding the bush pig and then the blower or whatever when I can find it. So... What tractor can you get used that has a fair amount of aftermarket products and will last? Suggestions? I'm in Canada, so I'd need something in the North American market.
  18. I'd put it on my back case to plug a solar cell into, then in the case will be the battery. When not charging the battery, the plug can be used to gain power from that battery. I'm excited...will have to wait a few months, but I love anticipation. Much like sex... might get that before I get the plug. Dunno.
  19. I'll no doubt be visiting Stef in the next 6ish months, we tend to go down a couple times. I don't think he's been convicted yet, I'll see what I can do. Amazon Canada is 34 dollars plus 13 shipping. Nope.
  20. That's awesome, I wish I could get that. It'd cost me 10 bucks to ship to Canada. Buy it here, and they want 13 dollars shipping and 35 for the plug. Sheesh.
