  1. Buy them!
  2. I tried to look this up prior to asking, the response I found didn’t mesh with your statement, “No brake dust”. Do EVs not use brake pads? The article below indicated they do…? Or, are they rarely used because when you rock off the throttle Regen kicks in? That was a weird feeling when I drove my first Tesla…Chris’ car. https://www.raycatena.com/how-brakes-on-electric-cars-are-different/
  3. I used 3/4” Melamine boards 15” wide by 10-12’ long to build elevated shelves. I slide plastic totes on them. I took them down from my old house and replicated them in the new garage. I wouldn’t have thought to use Melamine sheets as a work bench. I rarely do any wood working, mostly only vehicle/motorcycle repair.
  4. Funny, last night I was researching work benches as I want a stout one for reloading, and maybe to pound/hammer on. We spoke about HDPE a while back which I still need to acquire for my air compressor station. Amazon pack stations use HDPE for strength and likely for easy of movement when moving boxes and packages around. Might be too slippery for a workbench top?
  5. I mostly leave them in the provided cases...however, Carlos' printed tip holder looks like it might make them more readily accessible.
  6. Funny I’ve been moving into my new house for over 2 years and feel like I am that guy you are describing. The boxes and piles of crap seem never ending. Whenever I tell myself I will throw something away I find it again I’m another place or another drawer or shelf. The expression ‘you have to make a mess to get organized’ is my life. I feel like all I do is clear one work bench and only to do so by moving it to another workbench/work surface.🤔
  7. Pulling on it so hard when it let loose your hand slammed into a sharp edge in the cabinet effectively cutting yourself?
  8. As a fellow fastener hoarder I routinely take every nut and bolt off a defective item prior to throwing it away. It’s a sickness.
  9. ‘Our family love Trail 90s and Trail 110s. There is a 1086 CT90 in the pole barn right now.
  10. I imagine it is a data point in customer profile algorithm. I am trying to return a $150 bread slicer, which was sold direct by a Chinese seller and fulfilled by Amazon. Wish I had paid more attention when I made the purchase. The return request prompted a message something to the effect of..."If the seller approves your return...they have 48 hours to do so." I am now picturing lots of back and fourths with the seller and requests for pictures, etc. 🙄
  11. ...so I logged off VPN, cleared my cache and opted to use Chrome, which I never use. Price still comes up at $9.98 for me. I wonder if you qualify for better prices based on your close proximity to a shit load of FCs in the Phoenix Metro area where I am hundreds of miles from a nearby FC....
  12. Interesting. As an employee I get 10% off of the first $1,000 I spend on the site, for items fulfilled by Amazon. So, basically $100/year or less then a Prime Membership. This is a pretty fucked discovery we just made.
  13. So, I am curious if you might be onto something. WTF? Why am I not afforded the 10% discount? Screen shot just taken. Their systems know I am an employee....hmm
  14. I’ve installed aftermarket headlamps in Jeeps which come with DRL halos and separate wires to power them. I used a fuse tap and wired the DRL halos to the fuel pump. So, whenever the motor was running the DRLs received power. Completely unnecessary and more of a bling mod then any safety concern. I’ve read this sentence 4-5 times and have zero understanding of what is being said. Is this some wordy hooker/stripper joke? I want my truck to stand out on the road like a fat stripper hanging from the stripper pole?
  15. I ordered a large tool box from HD and it arrived the next day in a box truck operated by a father and son duo. Free shipping. They brought it in the garage and set it up so I threw them some cash as a thank you. They seemed shocked like they don't often receive a gratuity. Ironically, the same duo also delivered two new toilets my wife ordered.
  16. I resemble this. Thrown away tons and have drawers full. No idea why I kept them as I have great T-handle drivers and Allen Wrenches attached to socket extensions.

I was so focused on the surplus cop bike and red/white cabinets I totally missed the sunken lift. 😳
  18. Only concern I have is this: How susceptible to dust or more specifically sawdust is the 3D printer? Could dust over time fuck it up and cause more plastic feed meltdown fuckery? The stuff that looked like Mike’s brain matter on YouTube… We need this machine to stay running as it is doing important work!
  19. Funny, when I saw the title I had hoped this thread was about belt fed machine guns!
  20. I bought a 20” AR upper from a guy in a parking lot years ago. The BCG was packed in pink axle grease. I have never done anything with that upper. Never opened it again nor shot it. This thread might bring some inspiration.
  21. I may need links or more context. My brain is trying to keep up…tired and a couple drinks onboard. You are putting a HF belt on your EV or EV belts on your band saw? 😀 Pics, links? I suspect with Ashley in Germany you are staying busy rallying the EV around town.
  22. Happy Birthday man, and for the cleaner living.
  23. While learning what LMN meant I happen upon a good website for info. https://www.benefitresource.com/blog/letter-of-medical-necessity/
