SLyFoXX Posted April 9, 2016 Share Posted April 9, 2016 I'm in the process of replacing the front fork seals, leaking on one of the forks. A couple of issues that came up in the process first - bottom bolts will not release - one of them just spins and the other is locked solid - thoughts on how to get those off and do they need to come off to replace the seals? Second - the fork tubs are pretty rough, I've used wd40 in attempt to clean up the tubes, may actually be scratches. What are my options here. Redbird Posted April 10, 2016 Share Posted April 10, 2016 Does that spot contact the fork seal anywhere in the full travel of the forks? If yes, then it's a potential problem. If no, then it's not a problem. I'm guessing that's where one of the triples clamps onto the fork?
