For what its worth...

I contacted a company before I chromed my rims, they said "their" black chrome was for show vehicles only. They said it was an easily scratched surface, much more so then standard chrome.

Perhaps there are other ways...

Bump.

I'm not letting this die.

Speed99 any update??????????

Good...don't let it die, stay on my ass about this like Dave in a Turkish Bath House.

I haev done very little to practice on this. Dad had surgery on his feet and I have been working on the house and making trips to GP parties on Florida's Space coast!

i.e.: I have not done shit. I need to spend a day or two with Dad practicing on polished parts to see the results. This means that I need to polish some freeking parts so when I am done I have some bling on my bird.

I promise to keep everyone updated...especially Don!:grin::grin:

Lets see.... BigBoy does polishing,

and you Speed99 will be doing plating,...

...don't you have to polish the parts prior to plating?...

... seems to me like the 2 of you should be striking up a deal.

That way we could all profit from your combind expertise.

A jack of all trades is a master of none,

But if you have a master polisher,

and a master plater,

Then you should be able to produce a product that is impeccable.

United we stand.....

Just a thought.
