Hooplehead Posted June 12, 2015 Share Posted June 12, 2015 Noticing the premature wearing of my throttle cables. It seems the bar risers have put the cables at their limits and during a left turn to full stops, the sheathing is rubbing down into the cording. So, anyone have a suggestion where to order a set of throttle cables of custom length, with the proper ends and sleeves? At least now i KNOW why the throttle on this bike seems so much tighter than my last bird... Was gna work on the throttle springs to rectify, but seems another issue may be the culprit... Fun times, just imagine the crap i would find if the bike was a POS or had been farkled much. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
superhawk996 Posted June 12, 2015 Share Posted June 12, 2015 Both my birds had risers and no cable issues, aftermarket on my '97 and VFRs on my '01.
