BCBird
My mates Bird has what appears to be polarized mirrors and they also appear to be adhered with something sticky. They look good, provice excellent rear vision and have a bluish tint. I forgot the web site but it ends in - - - - racing. Has anyone had experience with this product, I tired a www.viewzi.com search but nothing. Thanks

jlheine
Magical no longer makes them... wasn't there someone checking into a group buy?
Sondance
Check this place out... Sadly, nothing spec'd for a BB, but they do mention if your application isn't listed, you can provide a template and they can fashion the appropriate mirror... might be worthy of some investigation? Has anyone had experience with this product, I tired a www.viewzi.com search but nothing. Thanks These mirrors were made by a company called Magical Racing in Japan. They are good quality and like all Magical Racing products, pretty expensive. They simply glue to the stock mirros with double sided tape. They have discontinued many of their products for the XX. They still have a complete mirror assembly for the XX, but it is their design, not a copy of the original, so the mirrors they supply with that do not fit the stock system. http://www.magicalracing.co.jp/
BCBird
Thanks, interresting site and I found the mirrors, pricy, and the glass inserts. I can't find an e-mail address to ask some questions. They have 4 types of mirror inserts but I don't know which one fits the Bird. Is there an address? Cheers
rockmeupto125
I'm sorry, but I forgot to repeat what has already been said. Magical no longer makes them... Really.
Hobicus
Mental note: I really need to contact a glass company some time and see what I can get them to do for me.
BCBird
Mental note: I really need to contact a glass company some time and see what I can get them to do for me. I agree. However the site had glass inserts, I just don't know which of the four choices would be for the Bird. However, it's pricy and I think a decent local glass business could do something. I hope. jlheine
I seem to recall the Magical website saying something about the mirror curvature being done while at a temp of around 1200C, using a German glass company. Pretty sure it's not something your local glass guy can just whip up, but I've been wrong before. The group buy thread is here but it seems, well, inactive.
