Jetfixxr
Guys, i am getting a small whiff of fuel every now and then, anybody have any ideas? I am a little concerned especially when my son noticed it other than that the bike runs great, on the freeway 75mph at 4k with the #18 front sprocket. Thanks. JB4XX
Pretty sure Jet's bike is a 97 carbed bird.

runner
I get an occasional smell of gas on my 98 bird. Check your fuel lines and vent lines carefully. One is likely loose or frayed.
EVLXX
Let me guess..... Your bike sits out in the sun a lot. (maybe at work) You use the side stand. You smell the gas shortly after starting your ride. Your Bike is Black, and you don't have a tank bang. .... and you have not conditioned your seals in a Long ass time, if ever.
