Mostly have to convince the wife. Sell CBr1000 for the money? or borrow whole price?, or sell smidge of retirement account and small loan? willxx23
Sell CBr1000 for the money? or .... Def sell that thing unless your have some serious sentimental value to it. I had one before I bought my bird, I thought it wouldn't be that much difference between the 2...boy I was wrong. A friend of mine had one for a while and feeling nostalgic I swapped rides with him for a minute...I couldn't wait to get off it and get back on the bird. This was right after I added the turbo.... I won all that other guys rides after racing for pinks...
BarryG
I'm still in the coniving stage. Mostly have to convince the wife. Sell CBr1000 for the money? or borrow whole price?, or sell smidge of retirement account and small loan? Once you ride the XX, you won't want to ride whatever else you got. I just picked up a '98 for a joke of a price.....the XX is jewell. I'm keeping my 2003 SV1000N though only b/c I can. Call me nuts but I had an '02 XX and I actually prefer this carbed one over the FI version....it runs just as smooth (or close enough) but seems to run not nearly as hot. Get rid of those other bikes and get a nice used Bird.
