Joe, is this for tig or stick?

I might have some sticks at home and I have some tig filler rod here at work. Not sure what # anything is.

Sweet !

I saw that stuff probably some 20 years ago... and still haven't bought any... but can't tell you why either. :icon_confused:

When I first got into the refrigeration business 15 years ago a supply house gave me a couple of sticks with similar claims to try out.

I wound up with a couple of melted sticks on the floor :icon_confused:

Do you guys think that would work with a mapp gas torch?

Or would that not be hot enough?

I have a rear brake lever that is cracked and Honda want a mint for a new one.

MAPP would be fine for that application.

Thanks Joe,

I think I will have to get some of that HTS2000

Edit - I couldn't resist. I will let ya'll know how it goes.

Get a used one off of Ebay. It is not worth the hassle and uncertainty of trying to weld it.

Thanks for the offer Stan, but I need a rear brake lever for my 929 not the XX.

If you happen to have a rear lever for a 929 I would gladly take it off your hands.

Sudden thought, do the XX and 929 use the same rear brake lever?

I will have to go look.

Edit... Nope, not the same

But I do have some of these HTS2000 rods coming :icon_thumbsup:
