K9XX Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 Changed out the clear jobbers for these bad ass smoked ones Side by side, doesn't look like much of a difference, but it looks great on the Bird :wink: Side by side, new and old Clear lense, lights on Smoked lense, lights on Clear on the left, smoked on the right They are still bright, and the blinker can be seen when flashing. Law sez you don't need forward facing running lights, only a headlamp on motorcycles. Helvet Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 They are made by Clear Alternatives about 6 months now. I've sold over 30 sets (Worldwide) in that time! Only problem is that they are less visible as the standard orange lenses, because the C.A. chrome bulbs give less light than orange bulbs....... LED bulbs in the blinkers will not work.
