CoolRunnings
My '00 had the original warning stickers on top of the gas tank when I bought it. They left post haste, but there's a faint remnant of the "glue" that held them on. I've tried WD-40, clearcoat cleaner and no luck removing them. I've got some "Goop", but am hesitant to try it. Any suggestions?

Mr dos equis
You can use carb cleaner or brake cleaner. Just make sure you wash or wipe the affected area with water and then hit it with some polish. I myself use bug tar remover works great and wont hurt finish, takes a little more elbow grease.
spEEdfrEEk
Go to the auto parts store and pick up some "3M Adhesive Remover". The stuff liquifies adhesive remnants and you can simply wipe it off. You'll just be left with a spotless and totally clean surface. I swear by the stuff. (and it's cheap) TJ  PS: It's also good at removing boot scuffing from the number plates of your MX bike..
