Turn Signal Mod

I bought some turn signal stalks for a CBR600RR to put in place of the stockers on my XX. I liked the way it looked on DavesXX01's bike. Now, I have the signal off the bike, lens removed, reflector removed, and I can't figure out how to remove the stalk. Seems there should be another screw somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't find it. Does the stalk just pry off or is there some other secret? Thanks for the help.

Are you talking about the stock signals? There's a little phillips head screw down in one of those holes- the one the wires come out of, I think. Get a #1 phillips and stick it in there and feel around.

That's it! Already got it back together. Sneaky little sucker. Thanks!

Hey, there is another screw in the hole where the wire comes out. Look at the new shorter one to see the location.

I had to take mine half way apart before I could see it, put it together the same way. Once you do it you will laugh at how easy it is

Try this site, these are cut down stock rear turn signals

To whoever did this writeup: good on ya mate. bloody brilliant. Too many people were bitching about my tiny rear signals and once I removed the stalk, I couldn't figure out how to re-mount em.
