ncblkbrd1100xx
Has anybody came up with a good replacement for those damned plastic fasteners that seems to hold the plastic together. TIA, d
Hurricane
Yeah. That's a good question. They always seem to break underneath the lower fairing... under the exhaust header collector. Think I remember seeing something similar in the help section @ Pepboys.
XX
check out Lowe's if you have one around town. fitty sense or less a piece and don't break easy!
The Krypt Keeper
I have broken a couple on the bottom.. I was planning on just getting alittle nut and bolt to take their place... just don't superman tighten it and breck the plastics
Redbird
I've replaced the two lowermost ones, the ones below the header, with those little nylon license plate "bolts". I get 'em nice and snug by hand and they stay put just fine, and I've had no problems with any melting. That was a concern at first, with them being that close to the exhaust, but they've been fine for thousands of miles now.
demon
I've put regular bolts under the header. thinking about getting some titanium bolts so when I scrape I'll put out white sparks.

R1dR3d
I'll see your zip ties and raise you a $2.49 a box (of 15) 5/16 'nylon rivets' from the local chain automotive parts store.
kg4fku
there is a place down in florida that sells them by the bag. John knows them and lives close to there.
John01XX
Chuck is right, www.hondadirectline.com sells OEM push pins by the bag for a couple bucks
Brian03XX
The 5/16 nylon rivets work the best. I had a few missing push-pin so I got some. They work better than the stock!! Make a tighter fit, the down side is that you cant just pop them.
