Dealing with paint brushes in oil finishes/paint, and how environmental laws can actually be useful

Dealing with lacquer and varnish brushes is a monstrous pain in the ass.  So I've tried a few different things, with marginal results and various levels of more or less pain in the ass.  Nothing is a good solution.  So this morning it became my coffee sipping mission to find a solution.  I read about a number of interesting ones.  Such as just putting them in a container of motor oil, then clean them before using them.  But you don't have to fully clean them, just a bit, unlike pre-storage cleaning.

But I also found two absolutely brilliant storage methods where you simply never clean them at all!  Fucking awesome!  Spent the next two hours trying and being unable to buy them.  Because of our lax environmental regulations and enforcement, people here just buy and waste a shitload of paint thinner, and probably dump it on the ground.  In Europe they have tight regulations and high tax on petroleum spirits, so the market created solutions.  They are cheaper in the long run, and SOOOO much time savings!

And not available here.  I'm paying a fuckload of shipping to get them via eBay.
