OMG
I just learned that you can put just ripe avos in water in the fridge and they will stay in suspended perfect ripeness for a long time.
SwampNut
Why bother with the water? They will stop ripening in the fridge for like a week. How much longer does the water add? Of course, don't ever get them cold before ripening, or they will be suspended at their current state. Then after a while they go from not ripe to rotten without hitting ripe at all. OMG
In water I know they go two weeks, all eaten by then. I'll be testing further.
