    Unable to get Allen bolt on bottom loose. Drained from the top. The left leg fluid is way dirtier. Gonna try to impact bolt out tomorrow. I'm concerned something might be wrong with the damper in the left fork. Is this normal? Should I just flush and fill it?

    43,000 miles. Someone had been in there before me. Everything in spec.

    Did a valve check, cleaned both surfaces and used a minimal amount sealant on the cover with a new gasket. Leaks at the circular head cut outs. I should've read my manual. It says to use sealant in that area. How much is needed? Just a smear or an actual bead?

    Ordered regulator from Rick's.

    It seems to be charging intermittently. All connections are ok. I'm guessing the regulator was messed up with the stator? Will test this evening.

    I'm an idiot. I misunderstood the manual. To test for continuity, I need to ground tester and check terminals individually. Is this correct?

    Didn't think to test it before installing. 2nd gorgeous weekend in a row with no "bird". If Honda stocked the stator, I'd pay the 270 today. Do I really want a replacement from Rick's now? I'm dumbfounded that they didn't bench test it.

    New "Ricks" installed, out of dielectric grease so I thought I'd test stator before trip in town. Has continuity across all three terminals. Surely they bench test these yes? Am I missing something?
