  2. http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forum/viewtopic.p...4662&highlight= I had a bad experience with StarCycle. They promised me an order, and two days after when it was supposed to arrive, I call them to find out the order wasn't sent yet. It was still sitting there at their shop!
  3. Okay... RichardCranium, I shoulda read your post before buying from Starcycle... Still no parts today. I called Starcycle, and at first they had a hard time finding my order. And when they did, it was still sitting there in the shop. And it was promised to be at my door two days ago!! I canceled my order with them. Let's see how long it takes them to credit back my chargecard.
  4. <<fingertips rap rap rapping on my desk...>> The mailman is due any minute... He better have my chain/sprocket...
  5. Nope. I waited around until the mailman came today, but no package for me. Dammit, they told me middle of the week and here it is going on Friday. If it's not in by tomorrow, I'm calling them to see what's up. If they haven't sent it yet, I'm canceling the order.
  6. Negative comments on Starcycle?? Where? I ordered a chain and sprocket from them last week. I'm still waiting for them. They're supposed to be here today. I guess, we'll see.
  7. If my bike turned 35Krpm, I'd be able to hit 525mph! (just teasin' ya!)
  8. yeah, sometimes Ebay sucks...
  9. That reminds me of Carlos' box-o-cable story. Carlos?
  10. I bought from SWMoto and going to have a local shop put them on for $10 per tire (off bike).
  11. I just ordered a chain and sprocket from there. Perhaps, that was the last one that was left? Or they have one more?
  12. Yeah, that was the idea when I placed my last order. DAMN!! I forgot... And at $3.77 each?! I'm kicking myself. You can never have too many cans of Hondapolish.
  13. $75 is good. JCWhitney has them for $87.
  14. Wow, 120mpt(ank) sucks! I usually get about 165-180mpt.
  15. Okay, so kneedraggers.com is the cheapest source for this chain?
  16. Oh fuck... here we go again... <<looking for cover...>> :poke:
  17. Fuck AZMS. So, when are you putting that anti-AZMS site up??
  18. Not in the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix, Arizona)...
  19. Actually, no. It was North Valley Honda. They did a great job with my bike. Well, except for that hose not being connected. Don't know if it wasn't secured at all, or just vibrated off. Something that I've never seen a bike shop do before: When I got the bike back, I noticed it was VERY shiny! On the way home, I noticed it gleaming in the sun. At first, I just thought I was happy to see my baby back. Then it dawned on me, it was filthy when I dropped her off! North Valley Honda gave her a bath and shine!
  20. My next chain (ZVM), I'm not lubing it, EVER!
  21. No no no, 9K is what I got out of the VM. I wanted the ZVM, but it was backordered, and I needed one right away. So, I got the VM. It was only rated for up to 1000cc's. The ZVM is the one to get.
  22. Some Consumer Reports magazine I got said the best time to buy fuel is first thing in the morning. This is due to the ground being cooler, causing the fuel to be cooler, thus reducing it's volume. So, you get more fuel per dollar. But really, how much does fuel expand/contract? I'm not sure how much of a difference filling up a 4 or 5 gallon bike tank is. Perhaps, filling up some of these 40 gallon SUV tanks, you'd get more fuel.
