Using plain old Shell Rotella T Synthetic 5-40. Buy it at WalMart for $10 a gallon. Works great comes out clean after 3 to 4 K Miles. :grin:

I looked all over the forum and could not find anything on the break in of a new bike. I was wondering what the board members did. Do you follow the factory recommended and baby for 500 miles or do you beat the heck out of it for a short period of time and change your oil and filter sooner, like the guy at http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm recomends. Thanks for any help.
