  1. If tis the one with the pump (not gravity feed) I'll buy it. Edit: just zoomed in and noticed it's the pump, Scott oiler I believe was the gravity feed. So DIBS
  2. http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=39046 Unfortunately the post is so old the pics are gone.
  3. Is it a '99-'00 ? Have a look for a wire loom fix. There is a test plug which can oxidize and cause that kind of problem.
  4. Nope, I figure come spring the kijiji/Craig's list will pick up and I'll nab one then.
  5. I can't remember where I got my relay, but it looks like the ones posted above. The problem I've noticed with the fast flashing is they don't seem to flash as brightly, don't go with inline resistors it's not worth the hassle. If you want more attention, hyperlites has some nice stuff.
  6. It also looks like it has bars in the last pic. The tail light sure looks...different I'm not sure if I like it or not.
  7. When you say regular old bulbs, you didn't get silverStar bulbs? They don't last as long as plain bulbs, but they are slightly brighter.
  8. This popped up on my Facebook feed, I thought it was appropriate to this thread.
  9. Good reflexes there, no swerve no slamming on the brakes. I was surprised he didn't turn on the wipers.
  10. That's a pretty good idea Mikey (I thought you'd like to hear that for a change) I'm putting one on my Christmas list
  11. Looks like a nice camera for the price, no go rake your leaves!
  12. I'm looking for a stock seat, or just the pan. Shipped to canada would be good, or shipped to 12919 works and would probably be cheaper.
  13. There now it's not on it's side.
  14. If you'll ship it to canada I'll take it, I'll even kick in the extra for shipping.
  15. I think I have a front fender, how soon do you need it?
  16. Just toss the thing in a hot tub, it will magically come back to life.
  17. I think the only real difference is where they mount on the bike.
  18. I used rhino liner hard line on the chin spoiler of my v-strom. It held up quite well to the abuse, and no stone chips.
  19. You didn't by any chance use a drill or electric screwdriver to tighten the nut? I did this when I was assembling a pool ladder, since there were a bunch of them to do. If you spin the nut too fast the nylon seems to melt and "weld" itself in place. I don't have any suggestions on how to unstick it, I just cut the bolt and put in a new one. Could you use a dremel to cut off the nut?
  20. I can't remember for sure, but be careful about where you get them, I picked up some yanashiki, from amazon, the damn things wouldn't hold air. A quick look at the design was all it took, the seal between the valve and the housing was half the width of the cheap-o straight rubber ones.
  21. Fuses, then starter switch. I'm not sure about the 02 but mine was really oxidized, and was causing problems.
  22. Any chance you still have a set of those passenger foot peg extenders?

  23. If it's just to run a relay tap into the tail light.
