    pc-111 map

    I have a 99'XX with Erion slip-on and K&N filter can I use this map for a pc-111 M102-007 - Erion Racing full exhaust and stock air filter or would some other map be better? thanks Ron
  8. "princable of the matter" shit if we went by this we would be rideing on AIR and not tires. LOL we wouldn't give $150.00 each for a tire for our car and it only last 5,000 miles

  10. None of the pics on this site will enlarge for me either. I think it's a board problem. same here...just get some error. Damn...my Panniers arrived yesterday too Attachments won't enlarge until we restore service to our main server, hopefully by the end of the week.   15. it is a really great bike. it has little less than 20,000 miles on it. I should have had it back on the road. I like that ten speed in the hills. you can leave it in 5th on most hills, at " THE GAP " I ran it in 4th and 5th. if anyone has a change to buy one in nice shape I would get it. it does not do any one thing really well, just over all a very good ride. I hate typeing!!!!!!!!!! couple of stories about this bike. I bought this bike about 3 yre. ago. first bike in 30 yrs. I got it Thursday at 4 pm. had the shop check everything out, 4am Friday morning headed out to " THE GAP " with 13 other bikes, 6 H-D, { 2 NEW } of corse the H-D had to be out front, if i got out front they would have to stop, anyway at one of the stops the 2 NEW bike riders as me why I would buy a old bike like this when I could get a real bike like theres, I ask them how much they paid for theres $ 28,000 each I replyed I can buy 31 CB900 for what you paid for that one H-D, I didn't hear another word from them. I will tell the other story later to much typeing. I know I can't SPELL ASS HOLE
  16. it is a 1982 CB900C About a year ago I was coming back from Memphis, we were doing 100 to 110mph for about 70 miles when I got back to town the bike was running rough. next morning I check the compression # 4 cyl 0 compresstion, all the other cyl were ok. pulled the engine then the head it had one burnt ex. valve. my question did running it this hard burn the valve or was it going to burn anyway? was it running lean. the bike has always run great idel smoth. thanks Ron

  22. Scott, I've always heard Shell Rotella was good oil and that the Porsche factory at one time preferred Rotella in their earlier (air-cooled) Porsches but I don't know what they recommend now. I've always thought about using Rotella in my '00 XX but never knew anyone else who used it in a bike. I like the fact that it's relatively inexpensive and you can buy it anywhere. I've always used Honda HP4 semi synthetic (without moly) in my XX (and previously in my old 95 VFR) and never had a problem, but the stuff is EXPENSIVE. I don't know if I'm paying more because it's Honda oil, or if it's truely better. If Rotella is good enough for Porsches it should be good enough for the XX. Also, is the Rotella "T" different in some way than the regular Rotella? Any additional comments you could make would be apprecuated. Thanks. Doug, I have used Rotella T, full synthetic, for 2 summers in everything I have. I know the XX shafts better. one time I used some texaco full syn. because it was on sale. after the change took it out for a ride it did not shaft as good as with Rotella got home put Rotella back in now it shaft like it should. there will be no dought when you change to Rotella you will like it, you can tell a big difference. yes I do own Shell oil company.
