beondwacko I realy repect this guy. He builds many all out race bikes for the top racers In Pro-Mod [ AMA-Prostar racing org. he has a drag bike that runs 4.40 in the 1/8. He does mostly Busa. and he tells me that it does make a difference on adding 2% richer. he said it will make a diff. in drag raceing. It was my understanding that it was 2% across the RPM range. it may be only in the upper RPM range, let me know if you need to know all or just upper RPM range. let me know if it helps you to add the 2%, Ron

he keep a close eye on the temp. he shut it off 3 times to let it cool. The bikes fan never came on. so I realy don't know the temp. what he did was add 2% richness to the map when he got done with the run. this was to compensate for the ram air. I don't think the bike got to hot like I said he kept a close eye on the temp, Ron I didn't look at the temp guage the 3 times he shut it down. the times I did look most of the time it was about normal, 1 or 2 times it was about half way. I didn't know how much was invaled in a dyno, didn't know he would take it up to the limiter so many times. I maybe wrong, but seams to me you should know for sure that your engine is good before you have a dyno done. if it makes it through a dyno you can say your engine is tough, Ron

the DINO { dyno} has two fans that are turn to the rad. It did not get over 3/4 on the gauage. I did take the side fairing off.Ron

One more time here is my set up. 99'XX 34,000 miles stock geaing, as you know Black is the fasrest color, LOL pair blocked off Erion twin cans K&N filter new NGK Iridum IX CR9EHIX-9 new PC-111 USB new 87 reg. gas he added 2% richnest across the RPM band because of the ram air I hope this map is of help to some of you, if it helps let me know. I want to thank Keith for helping me load this map for anyone that wants to try it. I can not do it someone will have to tell me how to do it. I looked all over the cd and could not find how to up load the map

I am going to try to up load the map here in a little bit, do I need to have the XX key turn on or can I use the 9v battery to power it. I am from the old school, I have been told all my live that it is not good to leave the key on when the engine is not running, thanks Ron

he is into busas and gsxr, he took the XX was very impressive, he like it. the only thing he didn't like was the weight, he said if it was lighter he would get one. he is a die hard Busa fan

I will see if I can get it. he may not let it go. He might think it will cost him a Dyno. but I will see. I may see if he will send it to someone I am not sure how to post it. we need a sticky to post to for maps.Ron you may want to get a map from someone other that me, my xx only did 138 HP, there are other xx that turn more HP that mine.

just got back from having my dyno done on my XX. Stock with PC-111 usb new, K&N filter new, new spark plugs, Erion slip-on. reg. gas, 34,000 miles not as good as some have reported these are corrected with map from Dyno Jet, it was running lean HP 132 troque 77 with custom map HP 138 torque 80 I do think it was worth the money. it is more response below 6.000 rpm. from say 4,000 to 8,000 it will run better and smoother. from 40 to 80 is better 60 to 100 is much quicker. 125 is as fast as I got it up to. from 60 to 125 is nice this is where I think the money spent was worth it. all test speeds were shifted at 9,500 Ron

I just got back from haveing my XX Dyno. PC didn't have a may for my setup, I went with the one you got from PC. It was off on my set up it was running very lean. I got it dyno and it made a big defference. pick up 8 hp over PC map. I would go for a coustom map. it is worth the money. IMO

I have been reading that on the VTX site. there are 50 pages of postsomething like 1,200 replyes. out of 7 or 800 that have put a car tire on would not go back to a motorcycle tire. there are some that have put 10 to 20,000 miles on with out any trouble. most say it handles better than a MC tire. I think I will wait til I talk to someone in person. one reason is because I am going to put it on the drag strip. out of the 20 to 30 pages I have read no one has a conplaint. one thing you have to get use to is it will follow a grove in the road more than a MC tire. thanks for the info, Ron
