  1. The oxtar matrixx run small if you order them, but second them for nice boots.
  2. My CC is going to get replaced this winter but sounds fine so I am not the best to say, but a worn cc should sound it worse when you let off the gas real quick.
  3. I did know anyone made the parts to change the front anymore. Are they one of a kinds or am I incorrect?
  4. Easy is good. Thanks guys.
  5. Do I need that pump they show in the mannual? :icon_think:
  6. In the past I have just replaced the oil in the reserve and then bled the line till I got fresh fluid. Will this work on the linked system were there is so much more line and routes?
  7. was at the store and read the bottle of Prestone all makes all models coolant and it said nothing about beingsilicate free. Looked it up on there web site and still found nothing. Where did you see that it was silicate free?

    chains

I know this a topic comes up alot but I need a new chain. I dont have a chain tool and was wondering other than getting the honda chain on if there where more draw backs. Do the aftermarket chain last longer? Also I have not been on in a while, has the pro oiler group buy ever happened and if not is it in the pipes?
  10. 10-50 is going to make for better shifting than 5-30. Not a valid comparision in my mind.
  11. Sell them, they are junk. To try and help out a fellow biker I will give 200 for them to go to your d&d's
  12. I would stay away from harbor freight on this one. One thing broken and it won't seam like such a great idea any more. Let not mention something happening at 100+. I paid about 80ish for bolth of mine and you can spend a lot more.
  13. I don't know why you would want to swap off a goldwing. If you are looking for a cheep oem replacement, place a want to buy in the for sale board. There were a lot of people that just got new aftermarket rotors on a group buy. I am sure you could pick up there oem's for a deal. I will promise you that a lot of the ones that got pulled have low miles on them and are in good condition.
  14. I ran non b's on my FJR and had no problem. I can't remeamder dry weights, but there is no less than 100 pounds more. I don't push as hard when I'm riding 2 up.
  15. Hey dale, I live in salt lake. What was the indurance race you were in? was it at the WERA races at miller motor park? I was out to the races earier in day. I wish I knew you were going to be there if that is where you were.
  16. I have a Z6 rear and a M1 front as some others here. It is my fist set and about 3,000 in to them. It is wearing well. should get about 6000 out of both. The Z-6 has been soft enough for me and the M1 has very good feedback.
  17. Bottom line is you think you can do it, great! Let us know what you find out, but this is a old platform that alot of guys have wrench on and no one is saying they did it. Don't let that stop you. I saw a air cooled V-Twin runnig number I would have thought possible at the drag strip, but he did not regear it and blow everyone away.
  18. They are talking miles not kph. Even better news
  19. Sounds easier to buy a new bike.
  20. Any full reports been post. Search did not get anything.
  21. I read a lot about the shims coming out if used the notched washers, so after I notch them I roughed up the flat surfuce. Then I used red loctite (Something for pressed bearings would probly be better, but I did not want to go to the store) and off set the notches. It has only been 4500 miles, but no problem.
  22. Thanks, We need to go riding soon. New oil and rubber on tonight. Hoping to get in some good miles in this weekend.
  23. I lost a hard drive with the manaul and now I can't find it. I need the torque for both axles, pinch bolts, and caliber bolts. thanks
  24. This sucks. I have not put much money into the bird. I have let levers, wheels and roters go by, but this one is going to hard. If we could get a little more off I would be in with out a doubt. That would only be the front though. The rear is to new to scrap and I've road much worse OEM shocks.
  25. you would have to list what you are looking at to spark my memory, but you won't hurt anything. The Ballast just will not fire if there are wrong.
