  1. Sounds good. Was hoping to get a pair at Indy Superbikes since they are right down the road from work. Had like 3 pair to choose from. The gloves I liked were too small.
  2. Looking for a pair of riding gloves. Ran out of time and the local shop can't have that much of my money for their shitty gloves. Need a pair of L or XL (depending on brand). Sell me one of your pairs that never get used for $20. Prefer armor on the knuckles and mostly black. LMK.
  3. Because I was curious, thought I would include the information that I found... 4. Guessing you really like the new RC... Great lookin' bike. Good luck with the sale.
  5. Man that looks sweet, and all the work has already been done.

  7. Didn't bother me much riding my gsxr, but the seat was much more cushy than my buddy's 600RR. Looks like the same seat. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for 8 months ago... probably won't be looking to buy until spring.
  8. hmmm... where are the rear pegs? are the seats really that bad on these bikes?
  9. Think I saw you and a buddy roll into the Red Ox in Castleton back in the spring. IIRC, your buddy rode an FZ and a girl with him. Not many that don't ride know the year by the color. If that's the bike (and pretty sure it is), I can vouch that its a jewel.
  10. May want it... wanted something with a remote, though.
  11. Alright, I bought the bike knowing that I would probably only keep it half the season, and then look for something closer to what I wanted. It was a great deal and couldn't pass it up. Rode it for a couple months now, and ready to move on to something else. 2003 GSXR 1000. $4000 40K Miles Yoshi RS3 slip-on Carbon frame sliders New sprockets and chain (returned to stock gearing) Front brake pads changed at beginning of the season Fork seals redone at beginning of the season Front and rear tires in great shape Clean title in hand I believe I am the third owner of the bike. The original owner had taken a couple trips to the dragon on it, and it was a daily driver. It was sold to the previous owner with some 38K on the odometer. The previous owner was a kid who rode it for a year before getting his girlfriend pregnant and all of his buddies getting rid of their bikes. Normal wear on plastic for a bike that has 40k road miles. There are two things the new buyer will need to be aware of. The rear tail is white and the bike is silver. The tail appears to be off an 04 and was never painted to match the bike. Its not terribly obvious in the photos and doesn't look bad at all. Also, the original owner put after market rearsets on the bike and "forgot" to put a brake switch on the brake side. Rear brake works fine, but only front brake activates tail light. The bike runs great. Oil is clean, exhaust is strong. It is light as a feather and a wheelie machine. Time for someone else to have their fun on her. Selling locally in the next few days at $4400. Pretty firm on price.
  12. I was wondering what your carb limit was? If you've increased your carb limit, you want to lower it back down to 20-30g. On the same path, but have not been as strict as I would like. Consistency is so important.
  13. Word. I'll stay oem. Saw a sweet buy on rk sprockets and chain. May go gold chain and levers.
  14. Got an 03 gsxr1000 and everytime I look to buy sprockets and chain, all there is listed is a 520 kit. Was going to buy oem 17/42 530- 110 link chain, but not sure the pros and cons of the 520 conversion. Would like to order chain and sprockets this weekend, but still unsure of what to get. Any input would be awesome.
  15. Have someone in your area that may be interested. I'll pass this along. See if we can't help a brotha out.
  16. A friend just mentioned over the weekend she would sell her macbook for $850. Thought it was alright price for "just talking". If the money was in front of her I'm sure she would move on that price. PM if your interested.
