  1. Well I hate to say but the time has come that I need to sell my baby! http://london.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-mo...QAdIdZ364274686
  2. Would you recommend using a 7.5 or 10 weight fork oil with stock springs? 200 pound rider with gear. Thanks.
  3. Well I finally had my 99 Blackbird on a Dyno last night. 132.44 HP MAX. It has Two Brothers Slip Ons & a K&N filter. Is that average or what?

Hi Kev I put a 18T sprocket on last year & I love it also. I don't think that I will go back to a 17T sprocket either.
  5. +1 on the Oxtar's. I have had mine for a few years now & love them.
  6. Just let us know where you pick that up, okay? Hi Joe Doesn't Honda make a dampened 16T sprocket for the VFR that will fit the Blackbird? I thought that I had read that here before in the past. Take Care,
  7. When I replaced my original (stock) rear sprocket, it had a number 45 stamped right into it.
  8. Mike was also very knowledgeable & helpful to me when I had called with lots of questions. Great guy to deal with.
  9. I bought the AFAM20602 18 tooth sprocket & the D530ZVM2 Gold DID 110 link 530 chain from White Buffalo this past summer & it works great. The DID ZVM2 chain is stronger than the DID ZVM chain. The dealer is incorrect about needing a 112 link chain (cut down from 120 link). I highly recommend White Buffalo Racing also.
  10. Please don't forget about bringing one to NeXXt for me also John. Take Care. Pat.
  11. White Buffalo rocks!!! I just installed a DID 530 ZVM2 Gold chain and AFAM sprockets. What a huge difference. I can't believe how much smoother the bike is now.
  12. I just installed a Pilot Road rear tire and I'm going to need to replace the front tire soon. The front is currently a Pilot Sport and I'm not sure if I should replace it with a Pilot Road, or a Pilot Power. I do a lot of straight line, two up riding so I tend to wear out the centres rather quickly. I think I'm leaning a little bit more towards going with the Pilot Road. Does the Road offer enough grip for the front or should I go with the Power? Thanks for your help. Pat.
  13. I've used a 17t since I've owned the bike and just wanted to try something different. The 18t is supposed to correct the speedo and give a little better fuel mileage.
  14. I'm thinking about buying an AFAM20602 18 tooth front sprocket from White Buffalo Racing. Is the AFAM line of sprockets good quality, better than stock or JT? Thanks for your help. Pat.
  15. Do you guys run Fuel Injector cleaner through your bikes? Will it harm anything? Pat.
  16. Thanks alot for you help Northman I appreciate it!
  17. Hi I did mine this past summer using the notched out washers method, only to discover that after time they had fallen out. This coming spring I would like to drop the shock & install washers on the top of the shock mounting bolt. Is it alot of work to drop the shock low enough to install the washers? Thanks. Pat. FFT, I recommend using Stainless Steel washers so they don't rust.
  18. Hi Dion Are you happy with the Starcom1 system? I'm thinking about buying one for Bev & I.
  19. Would it be OK to use a Pilot Road tire on the rear & a Pilot Sport tire up front? My Pilot Sport on the rear is just about worn out & I would like to replace it with a Pilot Road. Thanks for your help. Pat.
  20. I have 2 Bros Slip-ons. I found that when you install them, you have to be careful to align them so that they don't hit on the swingarm when the rear suspension compresses. Other friends of mine have complained about them leaving marks on the swingarm. Once I had them mounted I actually pulled them outward away from the swingarm. Other than that they are nice looking pipes & they sound awesome. Hope this helps. Pat.
  21. Is there a 18t front sprocket with a rubber damper available for a 1999 xx? I've read that a VTEC 02 VFR 800 16t sprocket will work. Is there a Honda model that had a stock 18t front sprocket with a rubber damper that will fit the xx? Please help? Thanks Pat.
