  1. Looks like you win a case of Fat Tire.
  2. If it is really cold where you live right now, check for the leak when it warms up. It might not be there. I also hate the new style radiators but have seen them leak after starting the car when it's really cold out but not leaking when it warms up.
  3. I have a Bridgestone 021 on the rear which is a dual compound but I don't have enough miles on it to tell you how long it will last. My guess is that it will do better than the last Dunlop.
  4. Crap!!! I was having a total brain fart thinking that you were looking for speedometer stuff. The part that I listed even said "SENSOR, SPEEDOMETER". Sorry, that's why there are other people around here. I'll crawl back into my corner now.
  5. 37700-MAT-610 SENSOR, SPEEDOMETER http://fiche.ronayers.com/Index.cfm/Module...Group/CRANKCASE The senor is on top of the crankcase about in-line with the clutch. If you take the tank off and look straight down in the empty area of the motor, you will see a senor right on top of the crankcase.
  6. I couldn't agree more. I don't use it in them summer because I don't think that it needs it but it gets it the rest of the time.
  7. The silverstar don't look amber in photo. If not, they wouldn't be legal but they look good.
  8. Forget the chain, do you really eat white rice & ketchup?
  9. I have always read that copper does a better job at transferring the heat. Here is a little bit that I found. Aluminum vs. Copper-Brass Many new performance radiators, such as those from Griffin and Be Cool, are made from aluminum that offers weight savings over copper-brass. While aluminum does not dissipate heat as well as copper-brass, modern radiator design more than makes up for the difference. Old copper-brass radiators were soldered together, but solder is a poor thermal conductor and this reduced the ability of the fins to remove heat from the tubes.
  10. What times does it run with those extensions if you don't mind me asking?
  11. What we have here is a pair of Joe Rocket Touring pants. I was looking for something different from the leather pants that I have for when I wasn't racing or tearing up the road. Something that I could stop at a store or to get something to eat and not feel like a freak in leather. Also, they would be cooler. I looked at the blue jean type pants but most had no padding and that is what I wanted. So, I picked these up. They have removable padding in the hip area and removable and adjustable padding in the knees. The adjustable padding is great for shorter people with larger waist. As you can see from the photos, they have zipper pockets to keep your junk where it belongs. The size marked on them is XL. I wore size 38 waist jeans and these fit fine. The reason I am selling them is that I lost 65 pounds and they are way too big. I only wore them 4 or 5 times and they still look like new (maybe a bug or two). $30 shipped to the lower 48.
  12. Try this: http://clearalternatives.com/Merchant2/mer...ry_Code=Flasher
  13. Great write-up! I bet you could sell a few of those done if you wanted to make a few bucks.
  14. Sounds like a plan. Avon really does seem to have a quality control problem.
  15. Here is a thought, if you buy one of the bikes from here, maybe for the cost of the rear lowering link (about $100) the seller would install it and slide the fork tubes up for you. That would drop the bike one inch. I know that I would do it to sell a bike and help a forum member.
  16. Here is a deal on a pair of Sidi boots. Not mine. http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/mcy/956457829.html
  17. You would think that it would rev a lot faster than before.
  18. Not being rude but I think that you answered your own question. Mine sits from Nov. to April or May every year. I try to start it up a few times during that period.
  19. They look a little rough and the seller's wording is lame. The price may be right for someone though.
  20. Did you see this? http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=57159 Might have to talk him in to shipping it.
  21. Looks like the rhino tire cost about $100 more each! I wonder how much different they are than just putting something like Slime in your tires?
  22. In my son's shop they buy power steering fluid and brake fluid in bulk, the bottles look the same. Someone put power steering fluid in the brake system in a older cadillac. The brakes worked for a day. Next day almost no brakes. They had to replace every brake part from the master through the wheel cylinders. Swelled the rubber parts. They lost some money on that mistake.
