  1. Very nice ride! Give us the details and what year is it?
  2. So why do they even make the other red stuff?
  3. +1 I take it that it is different than the anti thief system KIS or something like that?
  4. I have thought the same thing after seeing it on TV all the time. I would thing that it would be better for our old cars. Maybe we should e-mail them?
  5. The fuel is the only thing that would scare me. Just one smell and you can tell. I would also look in the tank.
  6. I am trying out the 016 on the front and the 023 on the rear. I like the 016 but don't know how long it will last and it doesn't gets used in the rain.
  7. Just for the record, you can use those vise grips to pull the new valve stem through the rim. Just use a metal valve cap and don't grip too hard.
  8. Just break one side with a large C clamp. Wouldn't think that you would need to lube.
  9. I would try it. If you don't like it, replace it. Unless, you can sell it.
  10. I have had car batteries do this same thing. Start up fine, drive in traffic in the heat. Stop to get gas or something and it wouldn't start. Leave hood up to cool off for a while and it would start. If the battery is old, I wouldn't even mess with it, replace it. And check the things the other guys said.
  11. I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to say it. :icon_silenced:
  12. It seems if you rock them back and forth it helps.

Zero as in the net affect of your post?
  14. See this post about just how well the Bird is made. http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=72263
  15. Will there be anyone with a Bird left on this site?
  16. I don't have one those high buck things (like only contractors can afford) but I don't use the axle. I use a smaller rod that don't drag on the seals and it always have seemed liked it worked OK. I have never had a vibration anyway.
  17. Come on guys, work a little overtime and keep the Birds.
  18. +2 Carb Birds run cooler because they have a larger radiator.
