Does anyone have a 97-98 stock header in good shape with NO DENTS that they don't need? I missed a cheap one on e-bay today when they got me by a buck at the end. Most are either dented or they want way too much.
Not to drag this on but no car/truck tire place around me (I have been to many) replaces them without being asked to. Wal Mart will ask if you want them changed and charge you for it. I have found that here in the north east that older aluminum truck/car wheels start to have problems sealing at the valve stems even with new ones because the oxidization.
Someone should start a poll about who has changed their valve stems. I bet most have not. I guess that you should but I have never had one fail where the air escaped quickly on any car, bike or truck in my life.
While checking out the Baxley, I was surprised to find them at Wal Mart.

I used to work with a guy who would straighten small trees by putting an anchor in the ground and using a ratchet strap to slowly (a little more each day) bring the tree back. So the strap would have to stay on for a good while. That is all I know.
Have you ridden it and then try to bleed it again? If that don't work, I would try what SuperHawk said about back bleeding. A car shop might be able to help with that.
