  1. I have the slip-ons and like the sound. They are not too loud but build as the RPM's go up. Kind of like a sports car.
  2. Have you done the Craigslist, newspaper, etc.? That is a great bike, it is hard to believe that you would have trouble selling it.
  3. Do you do F1 style braking down a mountain side?
  4. And always use a torque wrench on your lug nuts.
  5. So you have to rip off the tape every time that you change brake fluid?
  6. Seems like a great deal. What really draws me in is the no winters. That is such a big plus. Too bad that I am not in the market.
  7. I tried to PM you but it seems that you are unattainable. Give me some details when ever you get the time. No hurry.
  8. Does anyone have a 97-98 stock header in good shape with NO DENTS that they don't need? I missed a cheap one on e-bay today when they got me by a buck at the end. Most are either dented or they want way too much.
  9. If you stayed up right and had fun, it was a good day in my book.
  10. Not to drag this on but no car/truck tire place around me (I have been to many) replaces them without being asked to. Wal Mart will ask if you want them changed and charge you for it. I have found that here in the north east that older aluminum truck/car wheels start to have problems sealing at the valve stems even with new ones because the oxidization.
  11. Hope that it is not too bright at night. Looks good though.
  12. Someone should start a poll about who has changed their valve stems. I bet most have not. I guess that you should but I have never had one fail where the air escaped quickly on any car, bike or truck in my life.
  13. Was that after drinking beer and watching NASCAR?
  14. Well, he isn't the only one. My bikes are older than his. Many things to worry about in life, I guess we each choose our own.
  15. Looks like a great way for someone to get into track days or racing. The spares are a big plus.
  16. Finding problems like that are always harder than fixing them. A little contact cleaner may be all that you need.
  17. While checking out the Baxley, I was surprised to find them at Wal Mart. http://www.walmart.com/ip/29389472?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227020073645&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=52349462295&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=79448028375&veh=sem
  18. Canyon Dancer with PVC pipe over the grips and a second set of straps from the rear peg holders. I also used a home made front wheel chock.
  19. I used to work with a guy who would straighten small trees by putting an anchor in the ground and using a ratchet strap to slowly (a little more each day) bring the tree back. So the strap would have to stay on for a good while. That is all I know.
  20. Have you ridden it and then try to bleed it again? If that don't work, I would try what SuperHawk said about back bleeding. A car shop might be able to help with that.
