    Oh geez

We are going to hold you to that.
  2. Good work. This needs to be saved as someone will be asking the same question a few months from now.
  3. I tried that with mine but couldn't get the end cap off.
  4. I remember a good while back someone else saying the same thing. It turned out to be nothing IIRC.
  5. Here is another place if you prefer to do it on the web $56.30 + shipping for #4JH-81960-01-00, http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/fiche_select.asp
  6. The screw in piston has something to do with the emergency brake. I found that out many years ago on a Subaru and they were that way on the front but it did have the emergency brake on the front wheels.
  7. Good job and to think that some people call you a hooplehead. Just thinking out loud, why couldn't you just stick the end of the four hoses into your quart of oil at the bottom of the board instead of connecting them together?
  8. Glad to hear that because I have one sitting here ready to put on when I have a chance.
  9. I still can't believe a Bird can be totaled falling off a lift but Randy proved me wrong.
  10. Yep, that is what I did until I got the LED integrated tail light, can't do that with it.
  11. You mean something that looks like this? If so, it's called Mr. Hacksaw. I just used a hacksaw blade to whack off the fender, used mini turn signals but you can use the stock ones. If you take your time, it looks OK.
  12. The photos are not mine but I do have the same link. The first hole gives you a one inch drop. The second gives you 3 inches but when I tried it, the tire looked like it would hit the fender and I don't know how you would drop the front that much. It's easy to put on so you might want to put it on as is and try it. If you like it, you can do as I did and take it to a machine shop and have them install the factory bearings. Yes as stated above. To drop the front the same amount, I just slide the forks up in the triple clamps.
  13. Being how it is a Honda, I use Honda coolant. Can't go wrong that way.
  14. How about adding a manual switch to turn on the fan when entering the city?
  15. I had a 83 V-45 Saber that would do this under a hard 1-2 shift. If you held up on the shifter until the clutch was back out and you were on the gas again, it wouldn't do it.
  16. Have you ever had it down the quarter mile? I would really like to see that bike in person.
  17. Or you could try this: www.4grabit.com
  18. Pete, when did you start getting decent mileage out of a tire?
  19. Since (I'm guessing) he is talking about the bearings in the rear link, and not a high rpm bearing, would your "20% of total void" still hold true? There is very little movement VS a wheel bearing.
