The engine is stock only gearing , pipe , jets, and a M/T slick . The noise is present at all RPM's only higher pitched as the engine speeds up , checked the pressure plate bearing and it's smooth, with the basket removed and the engine run momentarily the noise is gone ,the backlash gear on the crank is still installed and functioning , the needle bearing in the basket shows no signs of pitting or excess wear , also I did leave the oil pump chain on when I pulled the basket.
You mentioned adding spacers to the damper springs in the back of the basket , how is that done without cutting the rivets to gain access to the inside of the retainer plate? :???:
Thanks
