  1. Nice ride!! I wish I were not in Afghanistan for a year! Maybe if you still have it in late spring we could talk!! Billy
  2. I may try it this weekend just to have something to do. After I ride of course.
  3. http://www.ixxra.com/wheelalignment.htm Has anyone every tried the above procedure to align the rear wheel?
  4. I would recommend agianst buying from electrosport. They have a full one year replacement warranty on the products they sell for a reason. I had two stators from them and the R/R they sent me was not the correct one. All parts were replaced under warranty. I bought the honda parts after the second stator fried. They did not have a R/R for the 99 and up models. If I were you order the OEM parts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Billy Mac
  5. I had the electrix aftermarket replaced under warranty twice. Finally I got my money back a got the OEM. So far no problems. I was told that the more you ride the less of a chance of it going bad. Can anyone support that theory?
  6. I replaced mine with the OEM and have not had any problems after almost 1 year.

I just replaced both of mine and found the best deal through Roy Ayers. I had tons of issues with the Electrix stator.
  8. I just replaced both the Stator and R/R. Electrex could not help on a R/R, the only one they offer fits the 97. So, just with back with the OEM R/R and Electrex Stator. bike works fine Know after a month or so of not running.
  9. Thanks! Those are easier to understand than the manual! I now have to draw straws on which vehicle to fix first, my truck or bike!! Master cylinder just started leaking on the truck Wed. Damn the luck!
  10. I had a shop trouble shoot my problem. They told me the stator was bad. Ok, so I ordered one and replaced it myself. 1 week after replacing it my battery died. I had it charged and retested by a Honda shop in town today. They said the battery was holding a charge so it is good from what the shop tells me. I just replaced my stator from electrix. I verified with them that I got the correct one before installing. I tired of having shops give me the run around and taking my cash, but I'm an idiot when it comes to trouble shooting electronics. In the manual it states to unhook the stator from the Rectifier and test each yellow wire. The meter should read 0.1-1.0 ohms. I just installed an new stator so it should be working fine. Also the manual states to test the Rectifier by connecting to the red and white wire + and also ground wire -. Does this mean connecting to the Positive and Negative terminals on the battery? Can that be tested with a regular Radio Shack multimeter? The manual also mentions something about the; Ground line - Green and Ground - Continuity should exist. Help!! Billy Mac
  11. I picked up a set for my 99XX for $6.99 a piece at Advance Auto parts.
  12. I'm glad that report came out when it did. I'm in the market for a good helmet and it pointed me in another direction. I'm thinking of trying one of the Z1R full face helmets. Does anyone have experience with one?
