Rich, I hate you.. I had this idea about a month ago, and was all amped up to try it out... I got the idea from Mac KiwiXX. he bent up some aluminum and made a little coffin. Any reason you didn't spray paint the tupperware first, or rhino line it... or kept the top able to fit...? Then you could store your lunch and a snack pack under the seat on your long trips... Well you know with your hand there it doesn't tell us how much space you have .. Small hands next to big bikes makes it hard to judge real scale.. missing you guys more every day.. Buying a new bird July 10th... find me one... See you soon... ps . I like your astroglide tube in there.. very inviting

Those were on my 97' I have about 6 weeks till I am in the market for a new bird... getting antzy already.... You still making them Porter? When the new bike comes I was gonna put a set on, perhaps I could give you a shout. Funny thing about sliders you never know what the damage would have looked like without them.

I loved mine. In the future I am gonna get a bit longer ones for a comfy boot rest. I used to stick a leg up on the highway. If you get a piece of rubber stripping and make the hole alittle bigger it give a clean look as well.. Porter is a frame slider guy. he helped me out when i needed a ..umm.. replacement :icon_silenced:

+ 1 on Bob at empire...giggle giggle.. I had a Givi Monorack on my 97 for 2 years riding 2 up and a corbin and didn't have any cracks.. Never used loctite , just the supplied spacers and an allen key snug tight.

If it is the top bolt that holds the fender to the fork. ie the one in the picture...DO NOT FORCE IT>>> I had the same prob with my bird.. I tried to force it out with an allen key.. the key had good grip mind you...I gave a good push and it felt like the bolt loosed.. low and behold the small rectangular metal plate on the inside of the fender spun, pushing a divit up into my fender.... So if you are gonna power it out. take the wheel off and put a set of vicegrips up in there while you turn out the bolt.. If that is not the bolt thats locked ...the other suggestions are great...

Do you make any for the cpi 125? ...wait..nevermind, the pipes will cost more than the bike.. Popcorn with sugar....mmmmm.. nice thread fellers, do you have a side shot of that bird with the pipes mounted?

I think mine were blue lighting.. I have "tried" both sides.. and they worked great.. I had Porter make my identical copies of the rashed ones.. bolted right up.. you do have to cut the fairings but and engine mounting bolt is the olny thing worth a slider in a wreck..

Is there any way to up the horsepower of a small 125cc scooter... ie punch the stock exhaust "blackbird style?" air filter swap or drill out... ?? Any help would be great...
