  1. Hehe...there are actually a couple of pics of me running some post hole diggers too. For some reason we didnt get any pics of the auger. No fucking way I would dig all those holes by hand. The auger was the type that you can tow behind your truck...and powered by Honda. Even with that the clay content here is so high we had a hard time. I think we put in around 230' and with cement and everything I think it was around $1100. From what I read the vinyl doesnt really pay off for about the first 10-15 years (unless of course its what you want) but after that its time to replace the wood and the vinyl is still good to go.
  2. Nice fence Nik. That vinyl shit is supposed to last forever...though Im sure you know...its pricey. I don't envy you though...putting up fence sucketh much. We just put up a wood privacy last summer. http://www.blackbirdpilot.com/images/house/fence/ We actually did it the hard way I think...we braced each post to make sure they were all plumb...then poured in the wet concrete...though I thnk you can just dump in the mix and pour water in...we had a concrete mixer so we did it this way to make sure it was mixed well. The nice thing about doing wood is that you can just approximate the holes and then after the posts are set you can go and saw the tops off so that they are all perfect. Unfortunately if we get the house we are trying to get we will be putting up yet another one...though it will probably be a two rail with vinyl coated chain link. <sigh>
  3. That is awesome. That is exactly what I tried to do a while back but I know dick about circuits. I tried finding some schematics online because I thought it would be simple enough to buy the stuff at radio shack and solder it all together. I finally just gave up. Any info you can provide on this project would be VERY much appreciated. Brett
  4. Fuck...I dont even know what THAT means. :???:
  5. Hey guys...my bike also doesnt have anything wrong with it. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
  6. I already have a set...they just dont work too good anymore.
  7. I'll buy you a vista cruise and ship it to you if you ship me your throttlemeister.

Nay. Re-read his post. Thats the 'remote'. Besides a V1 is about the size of a fecking brick.
  9. Yeah...same bolts. I started to go for 9 ft/lb but that seemed sorta tight. Maybe my cheap ass torque wrench is just a pos. I knew I was going to have to let it cure overnight. I'm very anxious to fire the poor thing up. It hasn't been turned over since...well since it was really turned over.
  10. I'm putting my oilpan back on...well I actually just put it on but I couldnt find any torque values for the oilpan bolts in the manual. Is there a torque value for them or is it just tighten by feel? I snugged them up but I didnt crank them down really tight since Im always wary of tighening too tight on aluminum. Also didnt want to squish out all the rtv though I probably did anyway. Next question. How long should I let the RTV (blue) cure before I fill it up with oil and crank it up? I guess I should ask if rtv blue is ok but thats what the service guy at the Honda dealer suggested.
  11. DAMN...I just coverted the price to US$. The screen was $333.
  12. Those are sweet screens...the fenders are sweet too. They are way too pricey for my poor ass. Someone...maybe on this board said it best. They said somthing to the effect of "The 'Magical' part is how much they get you to pay for that shit."
  13. Nah...we always take our bags with us when we hit the track.
  14. Thats bad ass mang! I'd love to be able to build something like that.
  15. Cool. Document with pics and post em. Otherwise we are sending chickens.
  16. My front door leaks like a sieve...mainly around the side that opens. We installed a good sweep so it doesnt leak around the bottom. Any tips on an easy way to seal it up? We have a glass "storm door" but it is just ok. Replacing that would probably solve my problem. The house settled and was piered and settled again so there are some gaps. We have that copper stripping stuff around the door but all it does is howl when it gets really windy. Any tips would be appreciated.
  17. mower weedeater edger hammock  Oh and congrats.
  18. New Enough is awesome. I ordered a jacket and some gloves in the middle of the night a few weeks ago. They shipped it the next morning. The price for a new perfed leather jacket was equivalent to what you would pay for a mesh one. I am very pleased with them. Its also cool that they give you a nice description of the products on their site.
  19. I thought I had posted about SWMoto already. Must have been the old board. They rock! Very good customer service. Great prices and the tires arrived in 2 days IIRC.
  20. This company consistantly sucks. They also charge a "handling" fee on everything so their prices work out to be more than they initially appear. They are irritating to deal with. I had trouble with them before but recently I found a great deal on some pants there on closeout so I figured I'd give em another shot. They proved that they really do suck. They lost my order so I missed out on the closeout price...then they offer me the pants at a very slight discount since they actually still sell them...they just had the one pair on closeout. guess it was nice of them to offer me the slight discount but when you add in their stupid fees I can get them cheaper from a company that I don't hate. I'm also sorta pissed because when I called the first time to check on my order the clueless moron on the phone hung up on me. I guess he was busy or somthing. To be fair the lady I talked to when I called back was polite.
  21. Ditto. That shit comes out fast too.
  22. LMAO! Too true man. I haven't done that personally but I think there are a lot of guys who have.
