  1. How the hell do you get 7500 miles out of a rear???????????? There is no way mine is going to last 5000 miles. I'm running 40 psi in the rear. Like i said, no burnouts, no high speed runs, no stupid shit just riding.
  2. I have 2700 miles on mine now, didn't measure the depth, but if the wear doesn't slow down, they'll be gone soon. I don't do burnouts, but i ride pretty hard. The sides are in excellent shape, no chicken strips. But i love them. I don't know what i'll run next.
  3. Beat the little fucking whore hard right from the start and let her know who the boss is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. That's a good one richard.
  5. That was in the first of about a 30 mile back road ride to work, they worked fine once they warmed up.
  6. Here is the part number for the pegs Joe bought Super Pole V-360 K/M Pegs from Lockhart phillips.
  7. I'm sorry, i forgot to say that i ride in the rain alot and like them very much, but on the way to work today, they didn't feel right. I only drive about a mile this morning when the back end started kicking out on me in a slow speed bend and not a real far lean angle. It sorta suprised me. But then later in my ride to work, they worked fine. It just seemed like it took longer for them to warm up today for some reason.
  8. I second swampy's statement!!!!!!!!!
  9. Wet weather grip???????? I'm just shy of 2600 miles on the 45/46 combo. It seemed like today, on the way to work, that the "stickness" was starting to wear away in turns. I just had to wait for them to heat up and they felt fine.
  10. I just used a screwdriver and pryed a little at a time all the way around the bottom of the tail light. Came right out. Then use that piece as a cut out pattern for the clear piece. ONLY make the new clear pieca bigger. You'll see what i mean.
  11. I know they do make them for the XX, sound awesome!!!!!!!
  12. I love you guys too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring on more!!!!!!!!
  13. Aaaaahhhh, never mind. I found the problem, and it WAS a real easy fix. I don't even know if i should post it, because i feel like a big thick dick!!! I'll tell you guys anyway, I'll take the harassing that's coming to me. Evedently when i cleaned my bike i hit the kill switch and forgot to turn the kill switch back on.
  14. This morning i went and washed my bike and then decided to remove my old turn signals and put the new LED signals on that DBLXX gave me. I removed the tail, the old lights, and soldered everything. At one time i turned my key on and tried the signals and sometimes they didn't work and all i had to do was switch the wires around and they worked. So when i'm done with the project, i go to start my bike and the battery is dead. So i throw on the charger, come out a couple of hours later and try to start the bird and i don't hear the fuel pump run, but i have strong lights, etc. What could the problem be??????
  15. I think you should just send me the tire and i'll pay for the shipping. I'LL run it with a plug, for your safety. Just send it to me.
  16. Hey Joe, you should of said, that you don't assume ALL people are idiots.
  17. I would have to say, 3-4 days if you don't know what you're doing.
  18. scubajohn, you can get the ohlins also if you don't want to wait. Otherwise i would wait for the RT. There gotta be other places out there to get them.
  19. I believe i use the Maxima stuff. I have no problems with it flingin off. I like the white look it puts on the chain.
  20. I have the clear alternative tail light, and yes there is a knock out. It is harder to do then the factory one.
  21. You can strip the whole wheel with stripper, but just remember once it's back on the bike, it's gunna be a real bitch to keep clean. Just for the simple reason of getting your hands in between everything and polishing them on a routine schedule. Unless of course you're like DBLXX, Dave and you don't ride much or in the rain. They will look good, but a bitch to keep up with. The best thing to do is get them chromed.
  22. Get front and back. Then go tho the MSF course, beginner, they actually teach you alot about cornering, at least around my place they do. Then go to the advanced course, where you drive over 2x4's and such.
  23. jheine, when you use your Radar detector, how do you see what mode it is on with it mounted there?
